So, after 24 hours outside, i can get a fix with accuracy between 25-50meters.. it's not enough but why not. After a reboot, i try get a fix with gps test, after 10min 24 in view but no one in use... GPS is definitively broken.. I'm so sad cause your rom brings a lot of things (volte, nav with "gest", AOD, dark mode... ) but without gps i can't use it.

Okay now wait for a day and try again.. don't stress GPS so much

And after lots of trying if GPS is still bad.. which means it's hardware issue.. your GPS chip is weak or broken..

Does someone have a XZ1Compact with a functionnal GPS please ? Ni Co bought at least 6 XZ1C and since April 2019. All of them have GPS who fail he lost hope. Can somebody could send a pic or a video ? :D
Moreover, we are in Europe (France) - Is it possible that a calibration of the GPS fix you used is needed ?

No one complained about GPS because it's fixed.. and I already told (you can also see in forums) that few xz1c came with broken GPS..

Since you want a proof of fix here you go

I'am impressed !! 40sat in view and 24 used ?? Never seen that on any smartphone, can you take a photo of your XZ1c please ? And after your price for sell it to me ??? :D

I think there are not many XZ1c users anymore, but i can promise you, i buy more than 6 XZ1c in 12 months and the gps has never been as good as at the beginning.

If I sell my xz1c how will I work for/on it XD.

I can't do anything about it :(

Can you send some photos of your XZ1c with gpstest please ? Thanks for your answer and time, i say it again, your rom is realy all that' was missing in XZ1c, if i can solve this gps problem it would be great

So, no idea of what is wrong ?

The pictures above are from gps test.

I really have no idea.. when it's all working for almost everyone.. I think it's hardware. You can verify it by going back to stock and see if GPS is still bad.

• Last build of Android 10 (Android 11 planned)
• IMS is now fully functional
• Added missing APNs for IMS supported carriers
• Kernel up-streamed to 4.4.240 (thanks to derf elot)
• Few internal improvements

Nice to see ! :).

Maybe it's fixed in US but here, in france it's not working, i have an old XZ1c (with à new one, buy 15days ago) and exactly same problem on the 2.

Thanks for your help and your answers.. I have no choice to change the phone

Hi,

I changed my mind, i can't surrender and change phone, the forfactor is perfect :D, so i'll continue try resolve this, i send you something this afternoon, your work is great on this rom, i'll try wipe and try october version :)

So... i flash stock, redboot, flash twrp, reboot, flash october pack and Google Play are still not certified. The same with google play also doesn't work?

Google play certified takes time and it's glitched. You can clear data and reboot and it will automatically be certified after a while. But safetynet should pass before it gets certified.

If it's not certified, please use some magisk module.

But I posted this october build after testing clean flash and it was passing.. not sure what happened :(

Hi !

I come back with a fix for my "gps problem", after buy so many XZ1c with this problem, i try buy another one last week..... (i don't like the color "blue coral").. I just test GPStest and ... 40sat in view and fix without sim card in my house with 6or 7 sat, outside it fix with 20sats.. I'm so happy !!

So, u were right, it was hardware... But so many XZ1c have this problem. The XZ1c with problem come from Thailand (Rev 2 on the box), the XZ1c okay come from Malaysia ( Rev3).

So i will instal (Clads will instal :D) twrp and i will stay with your rly great rom !

I pay you a juice 2 weeks ago, and will continue support you all the time you will support this great phone ! :)

    This is Pixel Experience 10.0 Plus - UNOFFICIAL ROM for XZ1 Compact.

    It is Stock based ROM.

    This is Unofficial ROM and I am not the developer of Official ROM.​

    ROM Bugs:
    • Wi-Fi sometimes normal sometimes slow Fixed in April Update
    • Google Assistant implementation
    • Google app running in background for long time
    • Hotspot may get buggy sometimes Fixed in April V2
    • VoLTE
    • Rest you guys find

    What's working :
    • Camera
    • Speakers are not amazing but acceptable
    • NFC
    • LTE / 4G
    • Screen mirroring
    • Safety Net { cts profile and basic integrity } shows success
    • Hotspot working over Wi-Fi and Cellular both
    • USB Tethering working over Wi-Fi and Cellular network
    • GPS

    Other tips (Kinda FAQs) :
    • If your camera crash.. overnight charge will fix it.. otherwise follow this instructions for quick fix Fixed in May
    • Battery should work great after first cycle for charge
    • Overall the ROM is stable as hell.. as per tested
    • This ROM will supported as long as the official one is out of beta. After that I choose as long as I want :p
    • To get grid option in styles & wallpaper app, use lawnchair-q-pre-release
    • For better experience, it is recommended to come from stock.
    • Netflix will work.. just download the apk from apkmirror and install it.. Fixed in April Update
    • Google Pay works after magisk hide with safety patch module installed. Safety net fixed in April Update
    • Google Camera Go .. make sure you have Gallery Go installed.. ( Bug portrait mode and translate mode clicks 90° tilted pic)

    Installation

    Download Link : PE October || PE November

    TWRP Link : Android 10 TWRP by @modpunk

    Steps :
    1. Remove your screen lock (set it to swipe up or none) and remove all your fingerprints registered.
    2. Download the zip above and extract the boot, system and vendor images
    3. Make sure you have Android 10 TWRP as mentioned above with link
    4. Go to recovery > wipe and wipe system, cache and data nothing else.
    5. Then flash the ROM zip file.
    6. Reboot and profit !!

    ANNOUNCEMENT HERE,

    June update will have the wifi fixed and a new ROM will be released..... Havoc OS.

    Currently, I am trying to fix memory leaks caused by camera.

    And for Havoc, I am trying to enable the dedicated camera button.

    Also new update will be a flashable zip.. so those img files problem won't be there...
