Thanks so much, it so hard to choose because i have just flashed pixel experience yesterday :)) but pixeldust is more stable in the 10 version and it has ambient wake gesture so i will certainly check it some days later.

Anyone know if wifi calling works on 11? I've been on 10 and it's been rock solid for me since. Tmob reception isn't great here so wifi calling has been a must.

Attention

This ROM uses the pixel identity of the pixel 5 in order to pass the safety net checks. Therefore, you need to disable the "auto updates" for the Google camera so that Playstore updates do not replace the camera app to the latest version which is incompatible with Pixel 1 (it will crash after the update).

Battery life?
To improve battery life, please switch off Always On Display (AoD).
@spezi77 what do you mean by "pixel identity of pixel 5" exactly. Does this mean that for all practical purposes, all external sources including google play will see this handset as pixel 5? Also, does this mean that unlimited backup of photos/vids thats available on og pixel xl will no longer be unlimited since now this handset will be seen as pixel 5?

I have installed and used pixel dust 11 with magisk for 1 day, everything worked fine except:
- i had to set the apn to default after reboot to connect to cellular data (same as pixel experience's bug, it's been fixed)
- at first boot, the google sound settings exit right after i open it. After i reboot, it worked fine.
- the magisk manager app was sometimes freezing. Although i force stopped it then open it still freeze. I had to reboot to make it normal (this don't happen with pixel experience)

found some bugs
1) battery drain fast even if AOD turned off
2) mobile starts to heat up even from moderate use ( official android 10 didnt have that)
3) just feels a bit laggy, not much but is noticeable
4) i dont know what's causing this but instagram videos glitches occasioonally
kindly look into this matter and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK <3

Where do you see to change the APN? I'm on Verizon and don't see any APN settings to change in the Mobile Data section (or elsewhere), which really stops me from being able to use this ROM.

EDIT: It was working fine with PixelDust on Android 10 from August 2020

EDIT 2: My only options are Mobile Data on/off, Roaming on/off, App data usage, Data warning & limit, Preferred network type (set to LTE), and System select (home only or automatic). And it calls my non-working data connection "Preferred System"

Saw someone mention that Instagram videos glitch after flashing this rom, and just wanted to confirm that I'm having that issue too.

The videos get all pixelated and muddy, making them almost unwatchable.

I'm also having the issue with mobile data not working, but can confirm that setting the apn manually fixes it.

Update on this. I reverted back to PixelDust X CAF from 07-Aug-2020, where I confirmed there is an "Access Point Names" selection at the bottom of the Mobile Data screen where you can at least view the APN. I believe Verizon users will not be able to see this option on Pixel Dust 11 to add/change mobile data, so it will never work. Steer clear if using Verizon until @spezi77 can address this matter. Nice work otherwise!

PixelDust ROM is an Android 11 ROM especially built for the current Google Pixel devices and aimed for stability at its core with themes and customizations.

Our philosophy is to offer all the features known from the Google Pixel Factory Images paired with a useful selection of the coolest custom ROM features.

Our project is based off directly from AOSP. We attach great importance to aesthetics, themeability and personalization. For this we have integrated a great selection of space wallpapers and a special theme app (many thanks to Dirty Unicorns for their code base) in the settings of the Android OS.

The PixelDust Crew would highly appreciate if you would take a little of your time and leave your valuable feedback, your honest opinion or just say hello. If you should encounter a bug, or some kind of glitch that seems to be abnormal and you are pretty sure that it is related to the ROM (and not related to any special apps or mods you flashed on top), then please give as many details as possible.

Special shoutouts to Roger.T for his amazingly designed wallpapers, logos and the best bootanimation I ever had on my Pixel!!! If you like our work, please consider to buy Roger the first beer, and a few more for the other team members and spezi77. Cheers!

    Disclaimer:
If your device fails to comply with your standards of what you consider functioning, I am not liable. This is provided free of charge and does not come with a warranty. Although, if you provide a log, I can provide some sort of assurance that I will look into your issue.

First Custom OREO ROM for PIXEL XL

    Enjoy the Pixel Dust Goodness!!!

    Attention

With this ROM, safety net check works out of the box!

Our builds use the safety net hack by kdrag0n. It is not necessary to root the device and patch it with Magisk to pass the safety net check.

How can I use the VoLTE?
Unfortunately IMS (VoLTE/ViLTE/WFC) is nonfunctional in Android 11 custom ROMs (same problem as with LOS 18.1).

    Battery life?
To improve battery life, please switch off Always On Display (AoD).
