Does anyone still have data signal when you're in a phone call? I have signal, just not data. So if I'm using my hotspot, it'll cut off

I think on Verizon there's a network setting they can enable that affects this.

I seem to remember it being related to HD voice or something.

Hello all, my device ran on the Pure Nexus until yesterday, but since few days ago MTP became unfunctional, and I don't know what caused it. Tried several things, drivers installation, updates, bla bla, none worked. In the end I've decided to install a factory image to go back to stock, tried from similar factory image like the one like on Pure Nexus to latest 8.1 ones. None of them seemed to be installed even if initially fastboot it showed like insltalling them. In the final formatted through TWRP hoping that I can start over again with fastboot factory image, again no success. Now I'm stuck with a brick that I can access through abd/fastboot, but seems that nothing works. Any suggestion how to put it back to factory status. Thank you very much need desperate support, as seems that nothing on youtube really helps.

Try downloading the factory images from Google and install that using flash-all.bat
Be advised it will wipe your phone (unless you remove the -w from the .bat file) but should get you working again.
You will have to boot into bootloader mode. Press and hold the power button and down volume button at the same time for that. Good luck

If you're in sprint or Verizon, I don't think VoLTE (voice over LTE) is supported yet meaning your calls have to switch over to 3G (CDMA) and cannot simultaneously handle calls and data. T-Mobile sand ATT have both supported it for years now. With Project Fi it might be different since I think you piggyback off of either Sprint or T-Mobile so I guess it would just depend which tower you were on at the time?

Fixed it, but many times it failed even though I've followed everything in very detail flashing. I am not new to flashing factory images, but it simply failed everytime. But to make it work I had to fastboot boot.img on both partitions.

You can do simultaneously voice and data Verizon. You have to call Verizon and make sure advanced features are turned on for the carrier side.

You don't have to call anyone, you can enable it online. Verizon would rather avoid the support call for such an easy task, and more than likely so would you.

To enable it online without calling customer service go to the Products & Apps page on My Verizon and click the Get Products tab at the top of the page. Find HD Voice and click Get it now. When the checkout window opens, choose the compatible devices on your account you'd like to add HD Voice to. Click Confirm Purchase, note, there is no cost. Now on your phone go to Settings|Wireless Networks and tap Advanced Calling then tap Activate Advanced Calling. You're good to go.

You can enable volte on your phone but you must also do it through Big Red, either by the online method I described or through the dreaded support phone call.

"Press * to return to the main menu"

Because of the A and B partitions i had trouble flashing too, check out Unified Android Toolkit, it saved my brick once and was very straightforward and easy. I actually got full license for 20$ even though I didnt need it.

figured id jump in and let you guys know i am back, its been a pretty rough half a year but i have finally got some time to start tinkering again im sure some of you have noticed some movement on github, i seem to have a good base going and now i am just working on device specific things :highfive::good: to start i will only be supporting the phones i own Angler, Pixel/XL, and Pixel 2 XL :victory: hopefully once i get these devices stable i can put out a build, granted the first build will most likely be barebones it will however have the stability you all have come to love from Pure
    74
    Installation Instructions:
    1. make sure you are on the latest bootloader, radio, vendor image
    2. install twrp via the instructions in twrp forum
    3. wipe data factory reset
    4. flash rom
    5. flash twrp zip again as the rom overwrites twrp (stupid pixel lol)
    6. if you desire boot into the os, then reboot into recovery and flash supersu

Note: i personally havent flashed supersu yet on the pixel so if you dont know ask and im sure one of the helpful members will help guide you through it!!
Note2: until we figure out how to flash zips alongside the rom zip gapps are included for the time being..

Okay guys the time is here, finally 7.1.2 for purenexus officially released!!!

    a couple things to note:
*the rom is now signed with private keys starting with 7.1.2 this is good for security purposes, but you will be required to clean flash this build, going forward you can dirty flash as long as it is an official release
*this release mostly is focused on stability and getting all the features from 7.1.1 into 7.1.2 without issues, next release will be geared towards going over the feature request section of the g+ community
*with 7.1.2 google updated the radio and boot loader i suggest fast-booting those as well

ok, Lets get to the goodies!!
