Does anyone still have data signal when you're in a phone call? I have signal, just not data. So if I'm using my hotspot, it'll cut off
Same on stock oreo, so I'd say it's suppose to be that wayDoes anyone still have data signal when you're in a phone call? I have signal, just not data. So if I'm using my hotspot, it'll cut off
I think it depends on your carrier. I had talk + data when I was on Project Fi but I don't have it with Sprint.Does anyone still have data signal when you're in a phone call? I have signal, just not data. So if I'm using my hotspot, it'll cut off
I couldn't find that option. All I found was this, but it pertains to WiFi. ("Cellular data always on')
Go look on the unlock page under discussion it's easy to find with searching. He unlocked mine.I do would love to know

Hello all, my device ran on the Pure Nexus until yesterday, but since few days ago MTP became unfunctional, and I don't know what caused it. Tried several things, drivers installation, updates, bla bla, none worked. In the end I've decided to install a factory image to go back to stock, tried from similar factory image like the one like on Pure Nexus to latest 8.1 ones. None of them seemed to be installed even if initially fastboot it showed like insltalling them. In the final formatted through TWRP hoping that I can start over again with fastboot factory image, again no success. Now I'm stuck with a brick that I can access through abd/fastboot, but seems that nothing works. Any suggestion how to put it back to factory status. Thank you very much need desperate support, as seems that nothing on youtube really helps.

Try downloading the factory images from Google and install that using flash-all.bat
Be advised it will wipe your phone (unless you remove the -w from the .bat file) but should get you working again.
You will have to boot into bootloader mode. Press and hold the power button and down volume button at the same time for that. Good luck
You can do simultaneously voice and data Verizon. You have to call Verizon and make sure advanced features are turned on for the carrier side.If you're in sprint or Verizon, I don't think VoLTE (voice over LTE) is supported yet meaning your calls have to switch over to 3G (CDMA) and cannot simultaneously handle calls and data. T-Mobile sand ATT have both supported it for years now. With Project Fi it might be different since I think you piggyback off of either Sprint or T-Mobile so I guess it would just depend which tower you were on at the time?
You don't have to call anyone, you can enable it online. Verizon would rather avoid the support call for such an easy task, and more than likely so would you.You can do simultaneously voice and data Verizon. You have to call Verizon and make sure advanced features are turned on for the carrier side.
Fixed it, but many times it failed even though I've followed everything in very detail flashing. I am not new to flashing factory images, but it simply failed everytime. But to make it work I had to fastboot boot.img on both partitions.
