[ROM]PixysOS v5.1 for Oneplus Nord [avicii] [android 12L][STABLE] [OFFICIAL]

Does the featurerequest post say that battery backup is improved in the next coming update or on the current 5.0.1 version?
I've had my WhatsApp crash a couple of times when I recieved some pictures on a group.Dont have the logcat tho
- Option to remove battery icon when battery percentage is shown. (We hardly see battery icon when percentage is shown)
- Reduce gap on left side of time on status bar and right side of other icons. (This will allow more space to display more notification icons)
- Traffic indicator do not change color when status bar is pulled down.
- Replace LTE+ icon with 4G+ as it consumes more space.
1. Fix lockscreen open animation. It has a stuttery appearance.
2. Reduce gap between clock and camera, and battery and right edge.
3. Fingerprint is really bad. It will not register my fingerprint most of the times.
4. Battery.
It's supposed to have gotten better, we'll get to know when the new update arrives
- a better camera app;
- tap to pay, if possible;
- option to hide battery icon on statusbar.
I just finished 1 day with this ROM. It has some issues with it.
Most notably
1. Battery is really bad. I got less than 5h SOT from 100% with heavy use of day-to-day apps. Reddit, WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube and Spotify. This is a real huge downgrade from OOS which was more of 7h SOT.
2. Camera app which is included is very minimal, and I'd like a better camera to be installed with more features. If possible, the OOS Camera itself.
3. Fingerprint is a pain in the ass most of the times. When it works, it's pretty good but most of the time, it will not work for the 5 attempts you get before having to type in your pin.
4. No HD support for Prime Video and Netflix. Netflix is widevine L3 and max is 540p.

1. Improvement in overnight battery consumption. Now its draining 15-20% with everything off except bluetooth and phone radio.
2. Customisation for lockscreen clock atleast reduced size of clock digits on lockscreen.
3. Video wallpapers on lockscreen.

Hi Aswin! Can you please fix In-call actions and Vibration Intensity too in the next release?
The stable version is a downgrade from the beta version currently, so I request you to fix these features first before adding in new ones:
1. Battery, hope it gets better like you said but currently it's by far the biggest downside of this rom.
2. Fingerprint Detection: it's very unreliable at its current state.you really have to focus to get it to work.
3. Camera: most Google camera ports crash and only some configs work.A reliable camera port is needed out of the box. The one provided is rudimentary at best and won't use all the cameras.
I wholeheartedly agree with keeping pixysos minimalistic but it needs to be reliable and the basic features should not let you down. But apart from these 3 issues, my phone has never felt/looked better than now, hats off to the team for making an amazing rom
I love hiding the notch on my Nord but doing so on this ROM makes it so that it moves the fingerprint detection away from the sensor and it doesn't work.Can you please fix this?
Currently using this rom for a week, battery time is very bad. Overnight without charging and using the "extreme battery" saver option it still uses like 11% battery without usage. Never had this with stock rom. Camera keeps crashing.
Also the "Adaptive brightness" is way to agressive.
The battery usage is what makes me change back to stock or try another rom.

UPDATE 2: After desperately waiting for an update or a hotfix which would help my phone's dwindling battery life, I decided to switch to another rom. I also noticed the charging time on this rom to be much slower than before and it took a lot of time for it to come from 50-100 let alone 0-100. I ended up charging my phone thrice a day . I used to play music on my phone before going to sleep on OOS and the phone never died before. in pixysos It has died everytime. Fearing I'd do permanent damage to my battery due to charging it so many times a day, I switched to OctaviOS today, will check and see how that performs.

Well by tapping on my screen I was able to restart
everything has become normal .... weird
I always do a clean flash via ADB

- Backup your personal data (Important)
- There are GApps and Vanilla builds
- Download the edition you wish
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)

Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine
