Its dual panel.. for the time being you can use settings in landscape mode.. I will upload a revert zip when I get on my PC.. Personally, I like dual panel settings

It's not working... I untick, reboot the phone and nothing happens, the bar is still there. Did that 2 or 3 times.

wow, finally a CM9 rom. you deserve a lot more thanks! My phone is usable again with 100+ apps. I actually like the search botton mod. I wonder how many people have broken their power buttons.

can u try a tablet style status bar mod? I had seen this thing in paranoidandroid, but i also read somewhere that normal apps can be run in tablet ui in CM with some tweaks.
I like the navigation bar but it would have been better if it was integrated with the statusbar like in tablet ui

Wipe the dalvick and cache partitions... it worked for me.

I know how to fix Vpn.. will be fixed in next version.. for now, just download system apps and copy vpndialogs apk
