Just picked up a captivate for my gf and she loves Sense. Didn't see a download link in first post but will donate once she gets used to Android.

I guess that's as far as it goes. Phone is for my gf so she needs a daily driver but thanks!

I have a ROM for the Captivate that is Sense.

But please know, 1.0 had an incufficient update-script file so that lead to an "Installation Aborted" error message in CWM followed by a boot loop. I speant some time fixing this and a few other small things, but I am currently uploading a flashable .zip and my wonderful testers should come to a conclusion by Tuesday at the most. In addition to this, the Galaxy S dev Kenia1234 is teaming up with me to hopefully port it to the i9000 and maybe even stick a Gingerbread 2.3.3 base in there.
NOte: Thread is closed, not to worry, had a little problem w/ flaming and the testing conditions but by TUES i might have a mod open it again...

It's funny how the captivate crowd wants sense and in the htc inspire forum roms are being built with sense being removed.
I have a captivate that I wanted sense on but now I have an inspire also and feel that sense is just ok. Going to have to get an att banded nexus s and give pure android a go.

Theres a relatively functional 2.3.3 sense port over in the i9000 section, and its being ported over here as well.
yes there is. i use every once in a while and it's awesome. escapist made a kernel for us captivate users so we can experience it too. check it out.
does anyone success to have service by copying modem.bin, system/lib and system/vendor ?
Umm sense is now on our devices guys, as well as honeycomb!
