How can I install the TWRP you provided? Sorry if this sounds noobish but the Life Max is not my primary phone, so I don't know how to flash things on it. Also, how can I go back to stock rom and where could I get it?
Lastly, to unlock the bootloader is it just needed to tick the OEM unlock option and then unlocking it with a fastboot command?

Clearer Understanding

Here is a much more clear walkthrough of things...

1. Make sure you have backed up everything that is important on the phone such as (contacts, files on internal storage, notes, apps etc.).

2. Open settings and scroll down to about phone. Scroll down to Build Number and quickly tap 5 times to enable the Developer Options Menu.

3. Go back to the main settings page and open Developer Options. Enable the Developer Options Setting and enable OEM Unlocking, then scroll down and enable USB Debugging.

4. Download the 15 Seconds ADB Installer here: Zippyshare. Make sure that the option to install system wide is checked.

5. Download this All-In-One Diver file: Mediafire.
Extract. Open the extracted folder and open folder 01. Install Universal_Adb_Driver.msi and the corresponding DriverInstall.exe from your [Operating System] folder.
Open folder 05. Run the corresponding dpinst executable for your Operating System i.e. dpinst.exe for 32bit and DPInst64.exe for 64bit.
Open folder 06. Open the install folder and do same as folder 05.

6. Now you need to unlock the bootloader, connect the phone to your PC and go to C:\adb on your PC, hold shift and right click in the blank space and choose from quick options "Open command window here", this will open a command prompt in this directory. Now issue the following command:
adb devices
You will get a prompt on the phone to allow USB Debugging, check always "Allow from this computer" and press Okay. You should see a long string of characters and numbers or the serial# for the phone and it should say device at the end. now issue this command:
adb reboot bootloader
once device reboots issue this command:
fastboot oem unlock
You should see text on the screen about voiding the warranty, press volume up+ to proceed and unlock. Once unlocked hold power down until the phone shuts off. Turn the phone on. It will take a little longer to start because it has to format.

7. To flash TWRP to the BLU Life Max you need SP Flash Tool and the Stock Rom. Once you have these downloaded, Extract SP Flash Tool and the Stock Rom. Open SP Flash Tool folder and run flash_tool.exe. In the flash tool select the Download tab, click the Scatter-loading file button and browse to the extracted Stock Rom folder and open the Firmware folder. Look for and select the MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt file and open. Uncheck everything except for recovery then click on recovery's location box which will open a window to browse to the recovery image, browse to the TWRP recovery image and open. Turn your phone off and remove the battery then click the Download button in the flash tool, connect the phone to your PC (if the flash tool does nothing, then while the phone is connected to the PC reinsert the battery) You should now see a red bar across the bottom of the flash tool which will then turn into a yellow progress bar let it do its thing. Once completed close the flash tool and disconnect the phone from your PC then turn it on. Once the phone has booted open an adb command prompt and issue this command:
adb reboot recovery
The phone should now boot into TWRP recovery. Now reboot back into system by Selecting Reboot and then System.

8. Once the phone has finished booting open adb command prompt and issue this command:
adb reboot bootloader
Once in fastboot mode issue these commands:
fastboot format userdata
fastboot format cache
now copy the TWRP recovery image you downloaded to the C:\adb directory and rename it to recovery.img then issue this command:
fastboot boot recovery.img
this will boot into TWRP recovery, from here select Wipe then select Advanced Wipe. Check only Data, and Cache. Then swipe to begin the advanced wipe. You should get a prompt telling you to type yes or no, type yes and press Okay to proceed with the wipe. DO NOT leave TWRP yet.

9. To Install the Custom Rom I use the adb sideload command and it works just fine. In TWRP, go to the Advanced Options, then select ADB Sideload and swipe to begin the sideload process. Copy the Custom Rom to the C:\adb directory and rename it to BLULM712.zip (just makes it easier to type in the prompt) and issue this command:
adb sideload BLULM712.zip
TWRP will begin to install the Custom Rom and while this is doing its thing proceed to step 10, once finished DO NOT leave TWRP yet.

10. Download GAPPS_ARM_7.1_(Any) and rename open_gapps-arm-7.1-mini-201XXXXX to GAPPS.zip and sideload it as well:
adb sideload GAPPS.zip

11. Now in TWRP open Wipe and select Advaced Wipe, check only Dalvik/ART, Data, and Cache once again and Swipe to begin the Advanced Wipe. Again DO NOT leave TWRP just yet.

12. Now download Magisk and copy to the C:\adb directory. Rename Magisk-vXXX.zip to MAGISK.zip and sideload:
adb sideload MAGISK.zip

13.Now reboot to system. This will take about 10 to 15 minutes to start so be patient. Once the phone has finished booting repeat steps 2&3. Then go to Security under Settings and Enable Unknown Sources. Now open the App Drawer and see if Magisk is installed, if Magisk is not installed you will have to connect the phone to your PC and copy the MAGISK.zip to the phone, doesn't matter if it's on the root or in a folder. Personally I make a new folder called ROM on the internal storage. once Magisk is copied reboot the phone to recovery, quick way to do this is a setting under Developer Options called Advanced Restart which adds the options to Reboot to Bootloader, and Reboot to Recovery to restart when you hold the power button down and press Restart.

13a. Once in TWRP go to Install and browse for the MAGISK.zip you copied in the last step, then select it and Swipe to begin the install process. Once finished reboot back into system. Magisk should now be in the App Drawer.

EDIT: Be weary about leaving TWRP installed as your main recovery, some people have stated that it can cause a bootloop into recovery everytime you turn it on so to fix this, take the battery out and then run the SP Flash Tool and load the MT6737M_Android_scatter.txt file from the Stock Rom you extracted earlier. Check only recovery in the Download tab and click recovery location and make sure the recovery-verified.img is selected then click the Download button. Reconnect the phone to the PC and if you do not see a progress bar the reinsert the battery while the phone is still plugged into the PC. Once finished the phone is goo to go.

I got tired of going through website after website trying to figure out how to get everything installed on this damn phone so hopefully this helps everyone out. This guide is my only piece of work and all credit goes out to the authors of the programs mentioned as well as the people who originally wrote some of the steps. Have a good day!:good:

Wow man thanks, really, you are my savior. I'll report back when I do all of this.
EDIT: did it, but sideloading didn't work. Had to move everything to the internal memory to flash from TWRP. Also, the ROM is kinda laggy, pretty much like stock.

Issues after installing on Blu Life Max

Hi, I updated my blu life max with android 6 by following the steps in this tutorial.

I needed a computer with windows 7 X86 to install the drivers because Windows 10 did not work at all.

But after having performed all the necessary procedures, I checked these errors and had to go back to the original rom.

1. The biometry sensor was not enabled.
2. The wifi only looked for the networks but could not connect.
3. The space that the ROM occupies even disabling some applications occupied 14GB and the phone has 16GB of internal memory.
4. The first time I turned on the phone, the launcher did not start but later resolved.

Even though smartphone was working but if someone can help with these errors would be perfect.
