I guess there is nothing wrong in reading facts!

-Base Of the ROM & Version?

->This ROM is based on AOSP. The version is being updated monthly.

-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" support?

->The updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

-Does this ROM Support Substratum?

->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, but you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.

-Which GApps are recommended?

->OpenGapps are usually the best out there.

-How do I root this ROM?

->We recommend Magisk.

-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?

->No.

-What about XPOSED?

->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

-When will the next update be?

->No ETAs, please. This is a port; it really matters when the original ROM gets updates. When that's done, I can begin my porting.

-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?

->Provide full info about your problem with logcat and the procedure to reproduce it.

->How to take logcats?

-Adaway is not working.

->Download it from here Adaway.

-SElinux Linux mode changer app is not working nor Busy Box installer app is working.

I have a j500m.

Quick note for everyone, i flashed the fn revision and i kid you not, that was the fastest first boot i've seen from any custom rom, with less than 5 mins. No signal though, but as i said, i have a m variant, not a fn.

Note to @TechyMan , flashlight quick setting did not work. Not sure if completely borked or not, just an fyi

Thank you for your feedback. In the weekend, I am planning to add the F, H and M variants.
The flashlight problem was because of not correct vendor files (your model is M, and the sensors are for FN).
The kernel may also be the cause - note that I will upload a build for M specifically with all fixed stuff which should work perfectly.

Yes that could work for him but I don't think it would fix all the issues considering some library sensor files are designed for the FN.
@garylawwd Tested with LOS 16 boot.img (january release), successful boot up, but no signal, no detected sim. I agree with the thinking, it was either a kernel issue, a rom issue, or a variant issue. In the end, looks like it was, as @TechyMan explained, a variant issue. Needs the specific lib files for the m to be up and running.

Maybe i didn't notice it last night, but is the boot animation supposed to fill up the whole screen or just most? On the test i just did, only partial screen fill (about 75%).

Checked the first boot time, its about 3-5 mins.

Yes, it's the variant issue. I've seen the j5nlte folder (vendor) and it contains some RIL (telephony) files which explains it.
Also, I've noticed that boot animation on 75% of screen only as well, but I am not sure if it's a bug or this is intended. :confused:
