Proximity sensor not switching screen off when on a call.

Hi

My proximity sensor is not switching screen off when on a call.

I have just flashed this Rom with all the proper instructions. The screen is clean, I do not have a screen protector and its naked. It was working in the previous Rom which was MIUI and stock rom but wanted to change to this.

Mine is Galaxy S4, GT-i9505

Please help?

Please read on the previous page. This thread is very old (by android standards, at least) and so is the CM version in this thread.
You should go and get the latest CM nightly available either from the official source:
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?type=nightly&device=jfltexx

Or the latest nightly created by noobdev with a few added modifications like delta update (allows for <20MB nightly updates), glove mode and open source google dialer from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unofficial-cm/files/Nightlies/jfltexx/

(I also recommend using that in conjunction with ktoonsez' kernel which sends your phone flying with great battery which is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297379)

That depends on which model you have. Are you using a carrier branded model or the regular international S4 LTE (aka i9505/jfltexx)?

For noobdev ROM you can get nightlies for the corresponding device from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unofficial-cm/files/Nightlies/
(just the general nightly folder, look up which device you have and choose the corresponding nightly)

As for kt kernel look here:

Scroll all the way down (I know the file names are hard to determine) and look for the corresponding version KT-SGS4-KK4.4-AOSP-VZW-01.23.2014.zip
The colored part is the part you should be looking for.
(ATT = AT&T, SPR = Sprint, TMO = T-Mobile, VZW = Verizon (I think))
Go for the latest version (currently "01.23.2014"). But for your convenience and anyone else coming to this thread:

I've installed this rom and everything works great except my external sd card now appears as 0 bytes in the settings and I can't access it through a file explorer or anything. Is there a fix for this? (Card is 64 gb if that makes any difference)

- Long-Press Home Button does not open Multi-Tasking.

Double-pressing home button is default for multi-task in Kitkat build roms

Give the logcat of the camera, I have dealt with all kinds of camera errors, I know what commits to use to fix it by now xd.
And I believe IRDA is being replaced by the new internal IR module in frameworks/base. but this may be incorrect.
