The way the xnote12 is designed if you are on JB and want to go back you can do so freely without tripping Knox. You have to flash xnote12 in the STOCK Slot through safestrap and flash any other JB rom on the slot files so that you can recover in the future. Once you flash don't restart just hit the back button and boot in download mode. Flash the files in odin to the correct spot it showes and it should boot up with kitkat. If you want to go back to kikkat just flash the ap and bl files to revert back to the JB bootloader with safestrap installed. From there you can boot into any JB rom because you flashed the JB bootloader. You can't flash KK with a JB bootloader which makes sense. You can only flash a KK rom with a KK bootloader and JB rom with a JB bootloader.

Links are up!
Forgive me if this question sounds naive or stupid. But if we are creating a new rom slot, on safestrap, and we put this or any new rom ( that is compatible of course.)
into that slot, NOT wiping the factory rom- Then why do we need to do a factory reset? on Rootjunky.com, the person ( excuse me- I forgot his name.) puts the new rom into a new slot and doesnt do a factory reset- flashes it and its activated with safestrap by following a sequence of steps. I can understand if you are wiping the original rom, ( after doing a Nandroid backup) and that you should definitely do a factroy reset. Please explain ..This sounds conflictive with some info, but I can understand its a way to help prevent' problems. But then again..its a blank slot- wipe dalvik, wipe cache, sized to allow enough room in data partition, cache partition.

I have the at&t note 3 running xnote. Every time I try to use it with eclipse, I get an error message.

The text of the error message is

"Unknown error. See logcat for details." This does not happen when I use the stock ROM.

The same thing happens with ADB. Just trying to develop a cool app.
