I'm using Shostock3 4.0 and AJ kernel, can I dual boot this rom as the second rom?

No you cant dual boot sammy roms because it uses the preload storage that the second rom uses. You can only dual boot aosp roms.

thats true...maybe aj is working on the v5...meanwhile ill check if i have the backup of his 4.9 vrsion anywhere on my system..

Guys for anyone who wants more options like center clock, 4 way reboot, skip music when the screen is off. Try wsm tools. Its an official mod based on xposed. You can also change dpi.

I installed the the new ROM and kernel strictly following the instruction (completely cleaned the system before installation). After the installation is complete, I found the hard buttons don't work correctly. The right two buttons don't respond any all, and long pressing the second button doesn't show the opened app.

What could be the issue?

u havent read the instructions carefully...u havent installed ajk properly...or u havent installed it perhaps..check it...

Problem fixed. Turned out that the ajk I downloaded before is corrupted. A redownloading fixed the issue.

I'm definitely hooked to MIUI development. ...definitely daily
Driver with battery that last longer. ...and zero SOD and bootloops...
On my second device I still have first version with 900+ hours without any crash or hiccups. ..
Believe me I'm trying hard to found some bug...There is none so far this port should be implemented to official support thread on MIUI site. ..
I hope you have better ways to reach people on MIUI thread. .
And getting incremental updates instead full reflash....:thumbup::sly:

Another suggestion is to try port 4.2.2 version of MIUI....that will give some lengthy life on the way to stay with edge on development. ....:thumbup:

Then use BBS to check if your phone going to sleep. ....
I have experienced some issues with last version. ...phone will not go to sleep. ...
Wiping dalvic and chache have resolved issue. ...
Micloud is one of issues that makes issue. ...

Rebooting phone will give you infinite bootloop...so don't use....if you do hold off button for 10 second to reset. ...
This issue is going from 10.19 version on to latest. ...
Some other alternatives are Jeboo kernel. ...I didn't run long to give positive outcome. ...
Just it works ...install will change your recovery ....so follow instructions for Jeboo kernel
