Sorry guys, I'm busy at the moment, but I'll try to get this issue fixed asap. When its fixed I'll update the title of the post to indicate that data is working :)

Also, to get this going without force closing everything, do we need to flash an aosp kernel?

I flashed it like this and haven't had any force closing: 1. Formatted all the usual stuff plus preload ( format /system, /cache, /data, /preload and Dalvik-cache)

2. Then I installed the MIUI gapps and everything was good (except data that is) :p

Hmm OK. I've tried that twice and got force closes at boot up. I saw someone else had the same results a few posts up as well. Going to download on my computer this time and try your steps, then if still a no go, will try an aosp kernel.

Still a no-go for me. Wont boot with kt aosp kernel, and after downloading on computer, still got all force closes.

Also, when flashing it says its for the i-9505?

Forgot to mention it only works with the stock kernel. Are you using TWRP recovery? It says that because it's been ported from that device. Lucky guys have pretty stable MIUI on their S4 haha

I'm going to message bmarko right now to see if he can help :)
