I pushed it to system apps and now all is well.
Going to try and get this thing to boot without fc'ing everything
Yeah that's my fault.. I left out the step that you can use Titanium Backup and convert to system app first. Do that to backup and restore.

I flashed it like this and haven't had any force closing: 1. Formatted all the usual stuff plus preload ( format /system, /cache, /data, /preload and Dalvik-cache)
2. Then I installed the MIUI gapps and everything was good (except data that is)
Hmm OK. I've tried that twice and got force closes at boot up. I saw someone else had the same results a few posts up as well. Still a no-go for me. Wont boot with kt aosp kernel, and after downloading on computer, still got all force closes.
Also, when flashing it says its for the i-9505?
Forgot to mention it only works with the stock kernel. Are you using TWRP recovery? It says that because it's been ported from that device. Lucky guys have pretty stable MIUI on their S4 haha

Hmm...that's strange...maybe it's a bad upload. I'll test it (I've been using the same file but from my computer)

I'd say so, everything looks to be clear...the front facing camera might need a tad bit of work but other than that they seem pretty close.
