Isn't the bootloader locked and can only use safestrap? Im buying an AT&T s4 in the morning, my Xperia died. I'd like to contribute to this forum and I really dig miui. Thanks!

I did some research, but still don't understand. So I'm supposed to use cwm recovery but that can't be installed on locked bootloader? I don't get it. ?

I'm not really sure on whether miui can be run on the newer locked phones. I had one of the good ones that I had to replace and now have the newer bootloader. To my knowledge this can't be run on the newer bootloader. I haven't found the answer and haven't risked try it yet. Was loving this rom and Bigdogpooh's uploads until I had to get the new phone. Now I'm stuck with safestrap and tw only roms. Though not bad running Golden Eye.

I'm going to assume it will not work.. Since this rom is 4.2.2 and I apparently cannot roll back. I've been reading all morning on xda. I haven't bought the phone yet but I assume it comes with kitkat? Oh well. Very confusing.

Man when are these Chinese roms going to step up there android versions and add new looks and features. Really love color os and miui but it's been like exactly the same it feels for like 3 years

today we are on 4.7.25 but I don't think BigDogPooh has done an OTA for this version. I'm not sure what he is doing but I think he is resigning the miui apks from the original miui ota, and he modified the build.prop for our jflteatt and jfltecan. anyway it's working...

Also I'm not sure I think I had problem with the recovery at a moment. if it's not working with twrp try another one

there is a guy which is trying to port the v6 on a i9505 based on cm. is current version which is 4.8.29 is working. too many bugs when you look at the logcat, but working.
I think the most stable version of miui I tested, is still on 4.2.2 tw base and the version is 4.8.22 from miui side. Does anyone tried and has a better one?

I personally tried the last 9.4.5 from official release on the i9500 by changing some values in update script. but it's stock on samsung logo. can't logcat to work also.
