How to get whatsapp working : ( Just in case )
Thanks to 'SHARING IS GOOD'

Here is the full step:


  • [*]Download whatsapp separately (from your computer or another phone)
    [*]Install rom and update rom as usual.
    [*]When it is done and reboot, don't connect your phone to any google account to avoid syncing contact with our google account. I also turn off data & wifi connection at this step.
    [*]Transfer your whatsapp app to your phone (you can do it by data cable or bluetooth).
    [*]Install whatsapp, now you can turn on your internet connection.
    [*]As for me, I choose restore backup then and backup restored flawlessly.
    [*]After that whatsapp initializing, and then it showing chat page.
    [*]Now you can login to your google account, sync your contact and download your favorites app at playstore.

Thing To check Before Installing :

  • Charge your phone battery upto 70-80 %.
  • Do enable the USB debugging (Settings > Developer options > USB debugging - Check Box).
  • Ensure that you have backed up your all important data.
  • Your phone must be rooted and CWM installed on it.
  • Download the below file to your computer.


How to Install TWRP / CWM


How To Install Rom :

  • DOWNLOAD SaMyKAT BUILD 3, 3.1 and 3.2 UPDATE
  • AFTER DOWNLOAD ROM AND COPY IT TO SD CARD
  • NOW BOOT TO RECOVERY
  • CLICK ON WIPE DATA /FACTORT RESET (WAIT TILL IT FINISHED)
  • NOW WIPE CACHE PARTION
  • INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD
  • NOW CHOOSE SaMyKAT Build 3
  • INSTALL IT [WAIT TILL INSTALLATION IS COMPLETED]
  • NOW AFTER ROM IS INSTALLED
  • GO BACK TO MAIN MENU
  • CLICK REBOOT SYSTEM NOW
  • FIRST BOOT WILL TAKE ABOUT 5 TO 10 MIN
  • NOW REBOOT AGAIN TO RECOVERY
  • MOUNT SYSTEM
  • INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD
  • NOW CHOOSE SaMyKAT Build 3.1
  • MOUNT SYSTEM AGAIN
  • NOW CHOOSE SaMyKAT Build 3.2
  • REBOOT AND ENJOY :)

Bugs report

These are the bugs I found so far.
1. Video Player and Galaxy Locker always force close by itself
2. The UI is so glitchy with 200 DPI (such as camera shutter button, gallery, setup wizard), changed to 240 DPI and the UI won't be the same
3. You have to press the expand toggle in status bar twice to make it work
4. Page Buddy function in Notifications screen was missing, as well as the music player widget on it (it's in the expanded toggle section but that's so not inconvenient)
5. (Not a bug but a request) make the battery percentage to the left side, not the right side as the original one is on the left

Almost stable :D

1) For dpi - Install texdroider_dpi from play store and change the value to 240.

2) For video player force close - you can use Mx player and set it as default video player.

3) install link2sd from play store-->open--->grant root permission - - - > uninstall galaxy locker and freeze stock video player

Trying to install SaMyKAT Build 3.2 zip.........


it no longer works.......the phone just hangs up with the grand quattro logo on my phone .......
as for the phone till the 3.1 build it is totally awesome.................loved it.....was with almost the stable environment..................

good one but has still some bugs...............like galaxy locker force closing and contacts error.......................

Remove Galaxy Locker from system/app using root explorer it's free in the market. Then install any preferred locker from play store. Or use stock one

Install texdroider dpi from playstore.....open it and change the dpi to 240 and reboot your phone .......the problem will be solved

Some problems faced by me
1.photos taken by camera not showing in the preview nor in the gallery
2.music player force closing not a problem as I don't use it
And multiwindow not working for me
Please give solutions
