Just a little tip I'd like to run by OP's approval, since he is the expert. When it asks for decryption by PIN and you've been using a pattern, I was able to "translate" pattern to pin using the following matrix:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

So a diagonal line from bottom left to top right would translate to a pin "753" unless 5 is already used by another line in which case you'd go directly from 7 to 3. Hope someone finds this useful!

Yeah, if you're clean flashing anyway you might as well format and do a factory reset (that's what I do). But I had to use this when I had to access the data partition to flash magisk.

I'm using this rom and for the moment it is very good.

Nevertheless I've two problem..

Battery life is not very good but not worse than others roms so I assume isn't related to yours. Do you have advice? Maybe a kernel? I never changed the kernel.
Without doing anything at all the phone can last 30 hours... Normally it should be at least 48h (for instance during night it lost 25 percent. Battery usage doesn't reveal anything)

Second problem is does this rom handle pie navigation bar? The one with the single button with swype actions?

I'm using the updated build and still suffer the annoying 'killed background apps'. If I open 3 or 4 apps, once I switch to the first or second app it seems to be loaded again. So I can't, for exemple, copy a segment of a text, paste into some app and come back to copy another segment without the app refresh entirely.

Anyone got this issue? How I can solve this?

I'm in the same situation, and I tried some methods to get a solution, (changing the kernel to extended kernel, changing the zram parametres, deleting swap) but without success, the only way to get the good ram funcionality again is rollingback to previus version (20181126) I don't know if is because I have the 2gb ram variant. The advantages to use this lastest version is the camera stability, is better than any other version, and the lastest security patches (december 5) but the app management it makes some difficult to enjoy it

I think I made a half solution. I activate the toggle on 'don't keep activities' and seletec 'no background process' in 'backgoung process limit', restart the phone and go back to default settings. Now it's much better, the apps doesn't got killed instantly, I can open about 4 apps and switch between those apps. It's not the perfect scenario, but it's working reasonable. Mine is 2gb too. Try this on yours, maybe help.

Are you on Oreo firmware?
