Hi guys, I was on stock Oreo flashed from TWRP. After all wipes, I tried to flash ArrowOS and everything works except fingerprint that it's not recognized from system and it's unusuable. How can I flash this rom with working fp? Thanks in advance guys.
PS: Now I'm on stock Oreo with working fp.

I found another post that suggest to flash stock Nougat, is this the only way? Thanks guys.

Yes you need to flash nougat first, then all will be well and we will have world peace.

After skimming through this thread, is the only problem so far on this ROM bluetooth (calling)? How's the RAM management on this ROM? I'm on LineageOS and the RAM management seems to be worse than stock. I can't run Google Maps and anything else simultaneously for example, and I also can't play music on Spotify and then take a picture with HDR enabled on the Pixel/Google Camera which I think is due to RAM again (to add, I am using the lower-end Moto G5+ with only 2GB RAM too).

I saw it was mentioned in Arrow 8.x that snapchat could run natively on it, but does it also run natively on this Arrow 9.x? Because I see some people mention they need to install Magisk for it to pass safetynet check first.

That's the issue by default stock gapps are selected which replace camera lib try Pico or micro gapps or aroma gapps

It's always best to use gapps suggested by rom developer

I was getting force close too when I was using bitgapps 0.1 don't know why than I cleaned flashed with opengapps aroma and tried this now everything is working fine.

Uninstall pixel launcher if you have installed it previously and Make pixel launcher system app and put framework in vendor -> overlays and reboot and it should work.

text selection in recents only work with English us language and for actions in app drawer install action services.

Anyone noticed that pubg runs way better on this rom? For me it seems game performance has increased with pie, not sure why but it does seem so. Even ROS which has always been laggy for me, runs almost perfect on this rom.

From my experience, I have no issues running this ROM on my G5 Plus 2GB RAM variant. I have somewhat heavy apps installed, such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and also Snapchat, and they're not force closing. As for Snapchat running on native Arrow 9.x, I haven't tried that out as I habitually install Magisk right away. Others that you've mentioned, such as HDR and Pixel/Google Camera scenarios, I can't say anything on this small topic because I'm not mostly a photo person, but I can suggest trying Open Camera and see those problems persists.

Also when I run "id vendor_rfs & vendor_rfs_shared" I get " no such file or directory" message

You can run them on terminal. Run those commands separately and you need to be in a root shell...

Newest version of this rom I get no buttons. Flash back to 9/08 and they are always there.

Same for everyone because it was intentional you can check the commit in code review section of arrow's site for the reason.

Bluetooth calls are broken

For me, everything works well in this ROM except for the calls connectivity via BT. If I call someone with BT connected, the sound is very noisy (absolutely unable to hear anything except for huge noise). Is it a known bug and/or is there a fix for this?

I just noticed that if you activate battery saving mode, it won't deactivate automatically when plugging the phone to the charger. Can't tell if it's actually still on or just the indicator

It ask me to enter my password at boot, then it says it is correct but my data is corrupt and i have to factory reset… i'm stupid i shouldn't have encrypted my data lol

in twrp go to Wipe>format data
this will remove the encryption and reset your phone so make a backup

4G Not Working

I flashed this ROM today and as i was earlier having IMEI and Network issues with Stock rom, now I've gotten the both but only 3g and 2g are available. I'm not able to use airtel 4g or reliance g4 either. Can it be fixed?
