[ROM][PRE-ALPHA] Jelly Bean 4.3 Pre-Alpha 2 & Kitkat 4.4 Preview 2 [12.11.13]

I've been using this kit kat rom and loving it but what i don't understand is the reason of the blackout in some web pages such as the browser but mostly email?

This ROM is far away from final version so so t expect much from it

Our great developer here is trying hard to get kitkat booting on our devices

He is allowing us to use this software version as a preview version as it's still far away from being considered as even an alpha version. so as a small request from him . guys .... please don't report bugs back to him .he's well informed about them and he will fix them by time

Hey guys, Evervolv Macto 4.0.0p2 [PREVIEW] (KITKAT) is now released. You can get it at my website


This should be a bit more usable. Shouldn't hot reboot. Camera (Pictures and FFC, no video) and Audio should also work. Enjoy.

Stability is now super - no more hot reboots. Internet/calls/sms/wifi/bluetooth/gps/sdcard&ums/audio/photo/rotation - works.
Screenshot - now gives green glithches instead of photos, the same is in recent apps.
Video playback doesn't work.

Browser gives black screen.
Logcat is spammed with such things while loading page (that I can't see):

E/chromium( 2376): [ERROR:gles2_cmd_decoder.cc(5698)] [.ChromiumCompositor-0x12df508]RENDER WARNING: texture bound to texture unit 0 is not renderable. It maybe non-power-of-2 and have incompatible texture filtering or is not 'texture complete'
E/chromium( 2376): [ERROR:logger.cc(46)] Too many GL errors, not reporting any more for this context. use --disable-gl-error-limit to see all errors.
E/gralloc ( 2376): gralloc failed err=Permission denied
W/GraphicBufferAllocator( 2376): alloc(512, 512, 1, 00000133, ...) failed -13 (Permission denied)

Hi,

thank you for your hard work on this preview.

I can't see any wifi when the sim is in, i think there is still a "problem" with the region code.

is there a way you can patch this ?

Daily driver

So after reading through the thread from the start of when KitKat was released I have one question, is anyone using this rom as their daily driver? is it good enough to be used (do the basic phone thing (place/take calls and send/receive SMS) and take photos) day to day like my CM10.2 (from a1-7) rom is? or does it need some work to be at that stage?

Excellent preview build, thanks. Volume adjustment and mute not yet working for media playback/alarm. Chrome works ok. Wifi working. Appears to be pretty stable, will leave it running for the day.

Confirm that, no sound on message,alarm...vibrate only.Other sound was fine( ringtone,music..). But nice for daily driver.
