[ROM] Prime v2 (android 2.2.1, stability-oriented)

if you flashed this rom the GPS will not work since this is a european version. gps works fine on asian version. since Noejn did not create the rom from the asian version, but try to check the APN settings might work once you enter the setting for philippines carrier.

I'm on PrimeV2 and I could get GPS signals okay within Cebu City and Cagayan de Oro City in the Philippines. GPS isn't related to any APN settings.

I lock on to GPS signals easily. Not a problem...
ROMs for different regions have no bearing on GPS. Most often the roms just have some customised software (all the basic functionalities remain the same) for specific regions and maybe additional languages.

If you can't download position of satelite from internet (a-GPS) than it takes more time to lock device....

I have only one problem: i have converted a Divx video with Handbrake...to mp4
I have always error ( with various Android player...and with double twist)
I have switch to FALSE the stagefright-player...but i have always error...

This happened to me too (but with another ROM, "void"), and because now it works I think the problem comes from the converter, not the phone. I obtained playable videos if the conversion started from the "iPhone & Ipod Touch" profile, only adjusting width to 400 (from 480) and mixdown to stereo (from Dolby Prologic II). Then I saved this as a new profile and I'm using it ever since, without any problem when I play the videos.

So GPS works for you, that's nice but some of our fellow forumer has a problem with the gps for prime....for the apn my bad, I was answering other question and did not notice i was typing it on the same thread...hehehe

no need, if you want a faster rom use the megatron.

flashed the prime and everything working well. no reboot in last 48 hours. Thx to the developer who made this possible.

BTW: this is kernel 2.2.1, what if I want to try void or any other which is 2.2 ? Do i have to flash back to v10b and then void or something, or it will directly flash to another?

Hi All,

I'm new here. Can I ask if I can extend the size of Ext partition? Also if it is going to be installed in the SD card? I was wondering, because there are bunch of apps available and I'm being limited to the internal memory. Moving apps to SD is not a good solution so I was just thinking or this is it I was thinking?
