Weird behaviour

Hi there,

I've flashed to Prime. Thumbs up! But sometimes it not respond and stay freezed and then (minute or so) it goes to restart and there it freeze again for ages. One way is to remove the battery...it's anoying because this ROM is much more better that any other there on XDA.

I've rooted with z4root at V10a ROM from LG. Then custom recovery with Android terminal emulator. Then partitions (swap: 0, ext2: 512 Mb) and then wipe all stuffs was written to be wiped. Flash from zip. Reboot. And here we are...

Is there problem with partitioning? Ext...LG OO gave me all the time ext2. Or when I did I rebooted (I would do a hard reset like in WM but don't know).

Sorry if it's newbish but stay cool it's my first Android phone.
Thank

ohh thnx for the reply bro but i see only 2-3 custom mods avilable for it n does angry birds work good on it . i mean no lagging n all ?

I use the megatron ROM on an Optimus T(a near clone of the P500). I have the kernel overclocked to 728mhz when needed. Angry birds runs ok, not great. It will run most levels good, but there are quite a few detailed levels that cause the phone to lag even when overclocked to 728mhz.

The phone runs very smooth with a custom ROM, but does not have the horse power to run angry birds smoothly, get a 1ghz phone to play angry birds without issues.

Hello,

the ROM works great so far on my P500 (my first android).

However, I have one issue: I cannot use the voice recorder anymore and amr files I recorded with the stock ROM (V10A Android 2.2) and with Prime V2 are not playable. Voice recorder gives an error message that the SD-Card cannot be accessed, while other mediaplayers say they cannot play the files. I formated the SDHC Card (8GB Class 6) according to the instructions but additionally copied back the folders from the original SD Card that shipped with the phone to have my files back.

The issue is not the SD-Card itself, since it works flawlessly (playing ogg files, using as mass storage over USB etc.).

The codeclist app shows
  • OMX.qcom.audio.decoder.amrwb
  • OMX.qcom.audio.decoder.amrwbp
  • OMX.qcom.audio.decoder.amrnb
  • OMX.PV.amrdec
  • OMX.PV.amrencnb
as present (don't know if that helps). Any hint would be greatly appreciated.

[Edit] Nevermind, I flashed to void

Prime v2

Works nice on my Optimus One P500. Good stability and very responsive. Missing APN for Vodafone Romania but added later after a quick search. Battery life is good, 1 day for heavy use wifi browsing and 2 days in normal use. Stunning 138Mb free memory after 65 apps installed. Thank You!

just one simple question, I am upgrading my memory card from 8gb to 16gb, do I have to follow the steps again ? I am using prime v2 with my current 8gb memory card.

Thanks.

I flashed mik_os kernel in recovery after flashing Prime v2 and it works NICE !!
Question to the developer. Will this ROM be updated in the future?
I'm afraid this is the only Android 2.2.1 custom rom yet.

Running 760 MHZ stable right now.
