I followed the instructions

If you are S-off then I am going to take a guess that you are not wiping correctly then, make sure you wipe everything a couple times before switching roms.
I wiped what it said wipe, the second time around I wiped everything three times. In the instructions the only wipe I was unfamiliar with was the sd-ext, but I found it and wiped it as well, but also noticed it wiped on the factory reset/data wipe.

Everything in that log is pretty much normal, nothing to prevent you from booting. Do you have anymore then that in the log?

It boots up, but shows a black screen....then restarts and does the same thing

And thats the whole log (for each boot)

I mean, the HtcEdbLog lines have an "E" tag, so I thought that those were the problem, I searched it up and didnt find much though

Did you check kernel logs to see if there was a kernel panic? Also, is this a port you are working on? If so, did you replace the runtime with one from another device?

So what you're saying is to not replace it?
Remembering that you said that before I had already tried without replacing the runtime, result was a bootloop that doesn't even show the boot animation, as opposed to this version where it does show it

This is that same port as before? I have no idea where to go from here then.

Our runtime doesn't contain functionality packaged into the runtime of that rom and our device doesn't play well with runtimes of other devices because of the hardware differences.

I have no clue where to go from here beyond attempting to compile it from source.

Edit: maybe try a runtime from a device with a 7230 chipset since it's about as close to ours as I've seen? That is, if they have a port/source build of the rom you are trying to port.
