As we already mentioned in some of the other threads: the current version of DarkTremor does NOT support this new FroYo rom and WILL cause bootloop.. no need to try again.. just wait for update of DT..

I actually got mine to boot when I tried. I had to change the boot image and all that bloody work that the darktremor guy explains on his thread but basically whenever you went to install an app I just got a restart and I couldn't check if darktremor was working either cause whenever I tried to open the terminal I just got a FC. So I kinda just gave up after that.. :(

It's working on my phone perfectly (3.15.xx). What's your problem?

Well my initial problem was that when you go /system/bin/a2sd check in the terminal it says blah blah sd card not mounted blah blah no swap partition environment variable and then yeah it says maybe your rom is incompatible with darktremor a2sd and then yeah like I said above, I managed to get it to boot but yeah FC's and restarts.

You installed A2SD after flashing the rom, right?

Add it manually with kitchen, then flash the rom with a2sd preinstalled.

What doesn't work on CM?

FM-radio mention here, the WiFi part is way better on stock (that is programs, the reach is greater, and some functionality). And the new kernel with bluetooth is supposed to work much better on stock. I've heard the battery drain is massive when you use the new kernel with CM6.1.Guess I could downgrade to the old kernel and use that one, because in january and forward I'll be using a lot of bluetooth.

Well, thats something now, isnt it? :)

No I didn't, I actually don't know how to preinstall stuff with the kitchen. Basically what I did before I signed the rom, so like when you're cooking it, I just got the files from the darktremor .zip and merged them with the rom files and then finalised the rom. So like when you flash the rom, it says you know blah blah unpacking, copying files blah blah and then it says installed darktremor a2sd and comes up with all that stuff and then yeah says it successfully installed darktremor. Seems like a dodgy way but since it actually clarified that it was installing the darktremor when you flash the rom I figured well its doing something and it says it installed fine.

That's heaps annoying. I kept getting your rom may not be compatible errors and then in the end just bugs. What process did you guys use exactly? You get the stock 3.15, then in the kitchen you do what exactly? Root, busybox.. etc and then what? lol I really wanna know what I'm doing wrong. I was using ext3 with swap partition 32mb and ext3 partition 512mb if that means anything. The other errors I got (yeah I know I've already said this) was that the sd card is not mounted and that theres no swap environment variables.

1. ROOt
2. Busybox
3. Busybox run part
4. put the DT A2SD files in Working folder
5. Add DT A2SD's Script into ROM's Script

Kitchen? Type a number then Hit Enter, done! (Number 16 for adding DT A2SD). It's easy like wearing pants.
