Dead Phone after install

Hi,

I've attempted to install this ROM, but without success.

I have root, Dual Recovery and firmware version .257.

I copied the ZIP file to the SDCard (ext), booted the phone into TWRP and installed from ZIP.

Once complete, I shut down and then installed the baseband/kernel ftf from flashtool (no errors in flashtool).

I then power on the phone and.... nothing! It gives a short vibrate, but that's it - no light, no screen coming on, absolutley nothing.

I flash the original .534 back using flashtool and the phone boots up again, but I've then lost Dual Recovery (and root, obviously), so have to start from scratch again.

Any ideas? Am I missing a step somewhere?

Try again, if you have .534, root and install Dual Recovery, then flash the ROM, after that turn off the device and flash everything except system without wipe anything for 14.2.A.0.290 in flashtool.

i already have doomkernel v4.0 on my phone, do i still need to "Install Kernel.ftf for C6903 (.290) or Kernel.ftf for C6902 (.290) with Flashtool to get compatible Kernel and Baseband"?

Every times I try to flash 4.3 custom rom with LB and i failed Now i decide to UB and everything works fine. No camera issue, for those who need x-reality engine back , i just. Search for port x-reality and flash. Everything normally without lose any sony function . UB not an issue for me any more. I just want to shared what I do. hopefully this help my fellow friends here

Still no luck - phone is dead. Flashing back to stock at the moment.

1. Downgrade to 534
2. Root
3. Install CWM
4. Wipe factory reset, wipe full
5. Install 4.3
6. Install CWM
7. Reboot

I went from stock rooted 4.2.2 to this + doomkernel and the battery life dropped a lot.
I have the same apps and same settings as before.
I used my phone this morning as usual. Few sms, about 3 - 4h of music. Usually i got home with 70+%, today i got 26%.
The device doesnt seem to be constantly awake and i am using stamina mode.

DooMLoRD Kernel is a high performance kernel. This might cost some juice.
If you think your device is constantly awake, check it with BBS. Follow the threads for BBS and see which app / service keeps your device awake.

First and important thing. Don't panic!

Is your BL locked or unlocked?
Flash with flashtool stock Firmware. LB: 14.1.G.1.534 / UB: 14.2.A.0.290. Check if your device is ok. It should be.

Then follow the instructions in post #3 again. You should be fine then...

This method not working on 4.3 ROM's with unlocked bootloader. The X-Reality still not active, and you change the system files to 4.2.2 versions, so if you restore your saved TA, must restore that files too to get back X-Reality, or you must restore your system from backup. Tested myself.

Well this is my method i was using ROMAUR v4.0 4.3, if you guys do not want to downgrade everything to get this version of iHackers i suggest you to follow me:

1- get your device ready

2- in ROMAUR thread find the recovery zip that should be flashed for Locked Bootloader you should put that on your SDCARD before installing XZDR.

3- install the XZDR latest version is 2.7.60 BETA windows

4- do not reboot or anything, flash iHackers 1.0 and then flash the recovery downloaded from ROMAUR thread

5- Power off, select disable recovery flash and wait like 5sec then BOOT your phone if everything is fine, you should be able to get what you wanted, if you do not have network reception, flash kernel .290 using flashtool

What file should I use?
Or would either file brick my phone and I should wait for the actual C9606 tft to leak?

You should wait instead of trying any of 2 file for c6902 or c6903. It's not safe when try a ftf diffirent with your phone's.

Just installed the ROM and all seems to be working well. But is there a way to hide the NFC icon from the status bar? The stock ROM did not show the NFC icon...
