Will this firmware work on an Eonon Car Head unit running PX30 ?

for as far as i understand this rom will work on all px30's running android 9
so if you are running android 9 you should be fine

Could you please tell he how to install this. Do I format a Micro SD Fat32 or can it go on a usb? Do I just copy the files over or are there other steps to be taken?

The first post has the instructions on how to figure out if your device is compatible with this rom. It's in the first few lines of the post.

There are instructions on how to install it in the ROM files you download. Download the lite version and read the instructions carefully.

i believe this has something to do with either a wrongly formatted usb drive ( if i remember correctly it should be fat32 instead of ntfs formatted)
or just use another usb port. on the device

not sure if what i say is exactly the case, but i seem to remember something about the partitioning of the usb stick

My Bluetooth SD-968 is working under Malaysk Android 8.x But not under Malaysk Android 10 Mod.
For me all trys to insert the Old Bluetooth drivers ended in Black Screen and new Setup of the Mod.
What about the Android 9 Mod? Is SD-968 Bluetooth working out of the box?

hmm, aparently i was wrong, if you google t

the exact error you find a lot of twrp related errors, you could go trough them and see if you can find something that might help you, but i'm not sure if it will be any help

I've tried yet with googling for find any solution, tested all but nothing change.
Yes, I'm on Android 8.1 but I'm using the Android 9 recovery included in the Malaysk zip

Or are you playing without Bluetooth via for instance a mini jack cable? in that last case you should have an app called "avin" which allows you to playback via a mini jack cable ( if you installed one on your head unit)

but since i don't own an iPod i have no clue, but i might be able to help install some stuff, because i have the payed version

My unit (Xtrons) has a special connector on the back panel for connecting to the IPOD. The respective connector has 8 pins (audio r, audio l, gnd, serial Rx, serial Tx, 5V etc). A special cable for connecting the iPod to that connector (30-pins iPod) also came in the package. In the device menu (in the original rom) there is an application called "iPod" that controls this iPod. I used this feature until I installed the wonderful ROM from Malaysk where this "iPod" application no longer exists.

I would say , this seems very device specific, so you might find this app supported by the mtcd,
i'm not sure how that is on the xtrons, but i have on my seicane settings --> car --> factory settings ( pin 162 i believe) -> i can install some apps that are specific to my device like the seicane tpms app, and some other stuff, maybe you find your ipod app there as well ?

i guess that's the only help i can give you since i don't have this ipod cable , but i hope you find that specific app in there

Hello, not idea to mod phone app, but you can try "Backlight autolevel (for chinese car MCU PX3 -PX5)" app on playstore about backlight :good:

Now one question to all, I see MTCE_LM2_V3.56a_1 and my unit is MTCE_LM_V3.52 so, is it the continuation for LM or ?

Hi, does anyone have a similar problem as me?
For the Lite version, I had no problem with the sound settings (6-Channel DSP). After purchasing a higher firmware version 1.1.1 and higher, the audio output cannot be set at all. The EQ setting cannot be performed individually, the frequency slider automatically returns to "0". Loudness is only functional at the basic value and switches itself off when the radio is switched off. This also applies to other parameters in the settings. Thank you in advance for any advice.
