it looks good, it's a px30 and if i google that with the pq2a build number i only find rk3326 cpu's , so i guess it should work.

Hi guys is there anyway to auto hide the status bar, reason being is that using amazon music the bar hides the options to view the music video or back to audio track and other options, sometimes it isn't visible but soon as you adjust the video its back and covers the top again

If you can connect to your OBD2 module, then the head unit is fine. You're probably doing something wrong while pairing (like not putting the lights in pairing mode) or the lights are broken somehow and not broadcasting over bluetooth. I assume that they should get power from somewhere, check if they are plugged in or that the battery is charged. See if you can connect to the lights with your phone.

Keep me updated if you don't mind. I am extremely curious because it makes zero sense to me. Maybe a certain security protocol that needs to be reached. I am not sure. I almost want to email the manufacturer just to see if they can explain.

So I reached out to Opt7 support and they indicated "For the bluetooth model, it recognizes mobile devices only."

I replied to enquire if it was the led control application when launched is checking to confirm if the device class it is running on is a mobile device or if the controller itself was filtering what devices can connect to it but received no further response {guess I'll now write my Amazon review and it's not gonna be 5 stars}, though I suspect it may be the first.

So most likely because the head unit is not a "mobile device" class type unit, the app does not discover the led controller.

Not sure if there is a way to do a fake device class or an apk/app that can read and show the head unit device class to assist in confirming that we are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

i'm not sure it wll work, but in the worse case you can reinstall the default rom ( if you have it for your device) and then install malaysk rom
