I think you dont get it...

Even if you have A10 files on your SD card it does not work.

You have to update the recovery first.

If you want to instal Android 8 you need Android 8 recovery.

On both pictures you posted we can see recovery version is 6

This is the last time i try to help. and i guess no other here will help you after your behavior...

Unfortunately your mcu is not mtcd/e, so you cannot put this ROM.

For some time now, the touch screen has been failing randomly, there are days that it never responds and others that sometimes it responds and sometimes it does not. Using a mouse the unit works perfect. The same happens with the steering wheel controls, the response of each other is random.
Is there any way to fix it?

Any advice how to install this version over hal9k 4.0 version? I tried with the mod installer method, but give me error, doesnt restart.

Hello everyone,

I am on the 4.0 build of the rom on my PX5 head unit from Xtrons (bought the OTA code and are awaiting it), The rom itself is running fine for the most part, but I am moving it to a new car with Steering wheel controls (SWC). To facilitate the communication, I have bought and attached the AXXESS ASWC-1 and gotten it hooked up from a car perspective. However, i cannot get the head unit to recognize any of the commands.

My head unit (The TE706PL) has a Key1 (brown), Key2(brown/white), and a ground (brown/black). As per the adapter's instructions, I connected brown to brown and left the ground off entirely, but nothing is happening. I did get the device to recongize something from the wiring at some point, but i think that was during a reboot or something, and I can reproduce it.

I dont know if this is a rom issue or a head unit issue or a rom issue, but I figured this was the best intersection of people in the know.

Anyone have success getting this to work with an ASWC-1 or get it working with a 2 SWC wire setup?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

UPDATE: Ignore this post (and delete it if you like.

Turns out that I needed to change the radio type, even for analog signals like this. For me, type 4 allowed me to map all 6 buttons in the OS. If anyone else finds this message and is stuck in the same spot, match the key wires (brown to brown and brown/white to brown/white) leave the ground (brown/black) free, and set to radio type to 4 (or whatever one works) and you should be good. Note though, that when you change the radio type, if you need to change it again, you will need to power cycle the device each time.

"TE706PL" is a model number made up by your reseller, Xtrons, your MCU will identify what unit you have.

Does your car have CAN Bus or resistive SWC ?

Just installed on a KSP PX5 unit. Something is wrong with the display. It thinks my screen is 1280 x 480 and everything is in the wrong place. It's system wide now, and this way during the boot screen too. Is there a simple way to change it? Resolution should be 1024x600

Hello, I have the Xtrons PQS7039B with Halk9k with Android 10. I don't have an SD card running in the SD card slot, it runs in the map slot. In the case of the right slot, the error message SD card is damaged and must be formatted and the memory is displayed as USB C. Is the problem known ?

I want to update my Erisin PX5 Head Unit with the current version of the Hal9K Mod, but before I've to replace the bluetooth module.
I opened the head unit and it should be the red marked inside? And anyone knows what the blue marked pins are normally used for?

But it seems that blueooth is onboard (attached a picture from the mainboard).
Can the new bluetooth board still be used? It fits to the blue marked pins on the picture before.

Afaik the bt module is the small blue board from realtek attached. I think is a wifi+bluetooth module. As different manufacturer boards are completely different you have to search for a compatible module to your board based on the current working bt/wifi module on other compatible mtcd/mtce boards

The best and reliable way to achieve a BT/Wifi replacement is by means of buying a compatible USB device as described here:

It seems to be compatible with Android 10 and not needed any desoldering...just plug & play (and change the BT type in factory settings)
