Hello guys,

i have a problem with bluetooth-connection to my iphone 12 Mini.
My Unit is a PX6 Android Max10 HD

In the BT-Settings i had used the FSC-BW124 the last whole year and it works fine.
Then i get the Info for a new OTA-Update, which i have installed. And after the install, i cant connect my iphne with the unit.

If you read the last pages since the release of the 5.2.0 update, you will find that more people have problems with bluetooth, if you look at the top of the thread there is a vote where you can connect, there are already about 46% of users who report the problem, the most WQ_RF210 . The only solution is to turn off the unit every time, because the auto-sleep mode ends the Bluetooth connection, or you have to reboot it, or roll back to a 5.1.0. The same issue is reported on Dasaita, the update that fixes the Android System WebView issue also has a bluetooth issue.
I read on Dasait that it helped someone to switch to SDIO-AUTO in the factory settings and vice versa after the 20221111 update, it helps to switch from SDIO-AUTO to WQ_RF210, it's a nice mess. Read comments on Dasaita over the past year:

The funny thing about it is, that i have a Dasaita MAX 10 and have no problems with Bluetooth.

My wife has a Dasaita PX5 i have upgraded to PX6 and she has no problems with Bluetooth.

I will look which modules are set.

Thank you for the information. My unit switched of evertime (don’t use auto-sleep function).
I will test the switch to SIDO-AUTO and then back to WQ_RF210.

BTW: a reboot don’t help.


Hope that will be fixed from Hal9k with a update.

When more than one USB device is plugged in, it's like they're competing with each other. They each constantly reboot, and it causes flickering and lost frames in my USB dash cam.

Also, the ethernet feature, which I was excited about, it works, but not reliably, and after a while, will cause the bluetooth to not connect sometimes. It's also dramatically slow compared to the WiFi signal from the same USB SIM card modem I use.

The app I use for my dash cam is called USB Camera Pro, the paid version. This app has worked for years on the stock ROM and other devices I've used it on. But with the mod, it seems it's losing permissions for the SD card. I have it set to record and save to the SD card, but after (x) amount of time, it will start recording to the internal storage, seemingly for no reason. It happens without restarting, without going to sleep mode, just randomly after a short amount of time.

By the way, I have the SD-GT936 BT module, and aside from a few issues like the one listed above, seems to work with v5.2

Also, one thing I forgot.. It doesn't happen all the time, but maybe 3\10 times on return from sleep, the WiFi will try to connect but fail over and over, until you pull down the top status bar, then it will instantly connect.

I know the board has been super busy with helping people thru their installs, but I would greatly appreciate any insight on how to, if possible, go from Android 10 hal 5.2, to Android 9 hal 4, or whatever the latest update to that mod was.

I think Android 9 would make my weak device run faster, plus I think the a9 mod has more solved than a10, at least for now. Do I need mod installer? I read someone who bricked their device trying to do what I'm doing, so I want to gather as much info about this before I try anything.

I’ve install first the max10 and after then the vivid. Both are running well. Then I’ve change the BT in factory setting to SDIO-Auto and voila, Bluetooth connecting.

But the sound of the Soundsystem right now is very horrible. Maybe the EQ Software is not so well.
I’ve installed a separate amplifier (Audison) and also high end speakers and sub.

Tomorrow I will install the HAL9K again and check out the BT connection with SDIO-Auto.

Hello, @hal9k, since I installed 5.2 I have this message, I have disabled navradio, and it keeps happening, it must be due to some other app that requests access to location, but the fact is that without the update it never happened and I have the same app , please solve this is very annoying.

Hi @hal9k, sorry to be a bit of a nuisance, but since the update the unit doesn't work well, the errors are more serious now than the inability to update the google app that you use on 5.1, the heavy message about location I get every time I turn on the radio, and the Wi-Fi connects automatically when it wants to, there are times when it doesn't and after five minutes it connects and I get a WiFi fixed message, an error was found that was fixed or something like that, everything this did not happen before. I think that those of us who have been faithful to your mod for a long time and are having these serious problems with bluetooth, WiFi and the heavy location message deserve at least an explanation, and that you tell us if you are trying to solve these problems, or if we should forget from this solution and move directly to another rom,

I love hal rom. My dasaita mx6 was almost unusable before, now on hal 5.0.2 most everything I wanted works, works right, and I'm very impressed.

Being one to never be happy with what I have, I see that it can support cameras and record on them....

So i ordered and installed a camera for front and back. Wired up, works great for viewing.


So what's the issue?

My headunit has 2 dvr apps, neither seem to let me record. One is Version1. The other version [email protected]%^# some odd.

Neither seems to work too let me record the 2 cameras which work well.

Has anyone else had an issue and or know how to fix it? Thank you.

I have the paid one, but can't remember the difference between the two. I'm not saying it's for sure, but might be worth a try. When I had two cameras a few years ago, it worked great. It even has picture in picture so you can view one camera as main and one as a big thumbnail basically. It has a lot of great features and settings too. Just search USB Camera on Google play, it's the one with the yellow logo with a black camera

Nothing works, I think my camera only being a yellow rca hook up is the issue, the one dasaita sells has a usb cord, and most everything looks to need usb to work.

I tried search but had no luck. When using google maps i have no sound from music. And when using the Default Music player i have no sound from google maps. I have the latest Hal 9k(Paid for OTA updates) I have tried the various settings of (what navigation apps muffle other sounds with no luck) I just want the standard android settings where i can listen to music and still hear directions from google maps. Any suggestions?

The basic setting is not in Mod, but in Settings/GPS. In GPS, set google maps as the default navigation: GPS application control. Turn on GPS monitoring. Switch the GPS sound mode to mixing. Adjust the GPS mixing ratio to balance the volume. If still nothing helped, try a different voice in the navigation.
