Is there any trick to getting Bluetooth Tethering (internet via Bluetooth) to work on this ROM? I've enabled it in factory settings but I have a feeling that might be for the other way per se. On the phone side, the option to share internet via Bluetooth is enabled for the head unit's Bluetooth entry, as well as the general Bluetooth Tethering setting obviously. Mine doesn't work at all, all apps show no internet/network.
I have a PX5 and I know it's supposed to work with this head unit as it's shown here:

I'm having issues with Bluetooth not working. Sometimes it connects, others it does not and sometime scanning for devices returns nothing. It's very intermittant. Is there a way to find out what bluetooth module I have inside my unit (RBT5753-1 PX5)? Thanks!
First, try to change to a different bluetooth controller in the factory settings, see message#2,371. In order to find out which Bluetooth module you have, you will have to disassemble the car radio, the marking should be on the BT module. I have a problem-free WQ-BC6.
I had a problem that the tethering worked but bt-music did not (after messing with the settings in 5.1, I could not get it out of tethering mode even with full reinstall). After 5.2 update the bt-music started working, and tethering did not. The only "setting" that changed was the (car) bluetooth name in bt-setting app (form i30 to deafult CAR-KIT), I don't know is there some bug that did that, but I am quite sure that the name change affected something.
My iPhone actually still says that BT device is tethering, but now radio does not have internet connection. But since I like bt-music more I really don't want to mess it up again ( I just tried like every BT-driver until it worked).
Has anyone seen the Screensaver have a Square white 'button' at the centre bottom sometimes, and other times its round, and even sometimes its missing all together? Curious as to what the reason is for it to change. The square like the attached photo, looks like a bug more than anything. Not sure what the purpose even is on this system as you touch anywhere and it will turn the screensaver off.

After enabling Zlink via factory settings I have two problems.
First is I get the MFI not found error and second is activation is not working .
I use my phone as mobile hotspot, Bluetooth and WIFi are enabled and working .

For stable operation of the device, it is recommended to update the MCU firmware to the current one, released in March 2021 or later.

If you have Android 10 installed:
The installation is similar to a regular firmware update:
- Copy the firmware file update.zip to a USB flash drive / memory card formatted in FAT32
- Connect the USB flash drive / memory card to the device
- Set the "Wipe data ..." checkbox and click the "Install" button in the window that appears.
- After installation, the device will automatically reboot one more time to complete the Magisk installation.
If you have Android 9, 8 or 6 installed:

Just wanted to say thanks for making this. I know that doing such things is a huge amount of work and even doing "small" things from the user's perspective can be days of effort.
I have installed the mod using your mod installer, spent the past hour reinstalling everything and setting it up just the way I like it. No drama, no issues. It just worked and now I have a newer version of Android installed which runs a little faster.
People tend to only comment here if they are having issues. I blame human nature. I just wanted to tip the balance a little in the other direction with this comment.
To anyone else reading this: just pay for the updates if you like it. It's €10 for some excellent software which clearly has a lot of effort and love spent on it, and is a fantastic deal.13
