i don't have TWRP in the recovery i only can update the MCU or the system with update.zip.

Rename it to update.zip

I can't promise that this will work, as these devices have only a very limited recovery, but it is worth a try

Hi Hal9k .. Yes, as I had already written to you both here in the forum and also in private, even before you left the new v5 update. 02 about the dab + APP that works very badly .. It does not receive the channels well, the change of channels between one channel and another takes between 5-8 seconds, for me there are a lot of them .. and above all about the original dasaita app that I can't install, it tells me that the app is not installed .. I kindly ask you to do something because really your dab + application works terrible, so do something if you can leave a little update .. All of sudden some weird things started happening, microphone stopped working, Auto Sleep doesnt work anymore, and the Screen Lock stopped working with a message that says:

Screen lock was already changed, try again with the new screen lock​

Any ideas?

Hi cavalier condorelli, sorry if I answer you late .. Yes I have the customized dab + of dasaita in a nutshell the integrated dab + and not the usb one ... Yes I know that I can install dab-z but I don't like it so much, that of dasaita is perfect .. Yes, the dab + app of dasaita has disappeared with the new update v5.02 but I must say that Hal9k gave me the wrong link to download and in order to download, I went crazy to be able to install it unsuccessful of course .. But, finally I went out to install with the right link from the dasaita site, downloaded and installed .. It works perfectly as I wanted .. Hello and thanks for the reply ..

Hi all

I've updated my PX30 HU to Mod v5 and after that I receive the code for OTA updates and moved to 5.0.1 and then to latest v5.0.2.

The issue is that my radio app does not start automatically at boot as before. I've checked that "Restart applications that worked before sleep" is enabled in Mod settings, but I am not sure if such setting is relevant to my issue or if there is something else. The HU just boots and what I see is the home screen, radio seems to be on the background if I go to recent apps but no sound. If I click radio icon then It works well.

Any advice? Thanks!

The same thing happens to me, since I have updated to 5.1, with 5.0 the radio worked well and could be heard when restarting, now I have updated to 5.1, and without touching anything on the lists, the radio turns on, but it comes out empty, and nothing is heard until I start it manually from the logo or from recently opened applications, the truth is that it is a bad task that the radio is not heard when starting the system, please @hal9k fix this.

Sometimes the issue is slighly different, as I explained in my previous post: when restarting the interface of the fm radio app does not come out and there is no sound, what I see is the homescreen. But if I go to recently opened apps the fm radio is there and if I start it from there it works again.

@Ujua, did you find a solution? This is so frustrating...this is basic funcionality and it does not work after having updated to v5.0.2 and no changes have been made to configuration

I also got this error a few days after the update. I couldn't solve it. Finally was a must make wipe data/factory reset. Set everything again. I think this is a bug radio app.

I found that same "solution" in another post, so I made wipe data/factory reset yesterday and the problem was solved during the first 3 or 4 times I started the car. But today I got the same error again...no way.

I think I'm going to revert back to v4. Maybe I can try again v5 when a new update is released...

I did it 4 days ago factory reset. There are many cold boot. It still works well. Try one more: go setting/ app. choose radio app and delet radio app data.

hi, in the end that problem with original radio could not be fixed, i downloaded the Nav radio app which is here ... https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/dev-new-navradio-ported- to-mtc-devices.4048899 / page-63, and in the Play store, I entered the factory menu with the code 126, and where it says radio I put no where it says FM radio, and now I use Nav radio as the default radio, also if it is much more complete, it does not have that problem at the beginning, you can try it, surely you will like it more than the original, but it is true that this should not be happening with the original app, I spoke with hal9k about this, but so seen has not found the problem.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, the FM radio app is the most basic functionality of a car radio, so having to change that app does not make sense for me.

I went back to stock firmware and radio is working perfectly so far (4/5 cold boots since then)
