Background info - I have an Xtrons PX6 head unit currently with stock ROM. Bluetooth audio only plays while the A2DP app is running, which effectively mutes my phone while I'm driving (notification sounds don't play, sometimes YouTube auto/pocket starts and uses my mobile data, etc).
My question - does this ROM allow for Bluetooth audio to play while other audio sources are active, or is this a limitation of the hardware itself?

After some days working with this rom this are my quirks.
1. Ringing sound very loud from speakers.
2. Sometimes torque cannot connect to the car. It shows that the odb adapter is connected via Bluetooth and in torque but i get no responce from car. Maybe the problem is with the adapter. I have a spare one but i never managed to connect to it.
Solution it remove odb adapter from Bluetooth devices and pair it again.
3. Recieving call volume is not very loud. I have to almost max the volume. I guess this is fixable from mcu factory settings?
4. Tpms. For program i use fcc tpms latest version. Usually after wake from sleep the program does not see the tpms. No responce. Solution is kill the tpms program and open it again.
I really have to put an even bigget heat sink on px6. The one that woonderfo send me is better that the stock but still not enough. With stock i was seeing 102 degrees, with the new one i can see 86. Its not even summer here. This has to be addressed asap. Will find time.
I also have to install the external microphone. I have complains that my voice is not clear when i am in a call.
What a pitty i havent found about this rom from day 1 i got the head unit.

Hello!! I have installed everything and it works perfectly except the OBDII. The Bluetooth I have is the WQ_BC6. Yes it detects the OBDLink Lx but it is impossible to connect. I have changed the password to 1234 and it does not connect. I remember that previously I had Android 8 with malaysk and I had to modify via xposed mtce Bluetooth the blacklist of devices. In your rom there is no xposed, can I install it? THANK YOU

I checked that the voltage readings shown in status bar are slightly lower than those obtained through OBD using diagnosis software. For instance, I see 14.0v in status bar while OBD is reporting 14.4v.
Is there any way to adjust (increase +0.4v) the values shown in status bar?

Hello everybody I have PX6 unit, today I instaled 5.02 everythin looks OK so far. But is it posible to group aplications on (home)screen somehow? It would be nice to organize it somehow in folders...
The best I've used for Head units is AGAMA car launcher, you can have 6 groups with 4 apps each, plus some shortcuts:

Same here! I have already reported and it was introduced with 5.0.2 This happens also with other navigation apps such Waze or Sygic. Every sentences has some milliseconds cut at the end while listening to music in parallel

The volume for ringtone does not work.
You cannot change the ringtone from Android setting only from Rom mod settings.

How do I install the firmware?
When switching from any other firmware, you need to wipe user data!
For stable operation of the device, it is recommended to update the MCU firmware to the current one, released in March 2021 or later.
If there is no such firmware for your device, use the latest available one.

If you have Android 10 installed:
The installation is similar to a regular firmware update:
- Copy the firmware file update.zip to a USB flash drive / memory card formatted in FAT32
- Connect the USB flash drive / memory card to the device
- Set the "Wipe data ..." checkbox and click the "Install" button in the window that appears.
- After installation, the device will automatically reboot one more time to complete the Magisk installation.
If you have Android 9, 8 or 6 installed:
Requires updating the recovery version to Android10

Mod is a modified factory firmware.
I can only be responsible for the changes in the device that I made. All of them are listed in the "List of changes" section.
Everything else, both good and bad, is inherited from the factory firmware.
I try to fix bugs found in the stock, but this I can’t always do it.

Just wanted to say thanks for making this. I know that doing such things is a huge amount of work and even doing "small" things from the user's perspective can be days of effort.
I have installed the mod using your mod installer, spent the past hour reinstalling everything and setting it up just the way I like it. No drama, no issues. It just worked and now I have a newer version of Android installed which runs a little faster.
People tend to only comment here if they are having issues. I blame human nature. I just wanted to tip the balance a little in the other direction with this comment.
To anyone else reading this: just pay for the updates if you like it. It's €10 for some excellent software which clearly has a lot of effort and love spent on it, and is a fantastic deal.13

Saying "flopped" is attacking the character, not addressing the issues. It's not OK here.
If there are issues these would need to be detailed.
List these out, include your experience.7

Note:
If you installed update 5.1.0 today and have a problem with Magisk v24:
OTA packages updated tonight.
You need to reinstall 5.0.0 and updates. Without a wipe data!
With a next install of the 5.1.0 package, Magisk data will be cleared and it will work fine.
