the payment solutions are shown on the @Hal9k_ website very well. If you don't want to create an account or don't want to transfer money to get the full version, that's your problem
today these (unfortunately) are the solutions
otherwise ask the whole world to lift these ridiculous restrictions for citizens who have nothing to do with certain decisions made by governments

i am just saying that if hal9k has chosen those payment methods, it means there is no other way for him to get money from the rest of the world. so if you do not accept that it is useless to comment and respond to answers that were not addressed to you (my first answer today)

Yes, you need to downgrade also the Chrome because Chrome and Android system Webview it using the same platform and it's slow because is a old version now of Android system Webview and probably because of that..but it is only that works now and we has nothing to do right now because the newer version seems to not working to hu..

I have a problem with this mod, on the previous android (original 9PIE) everything worked as it should, after installing this ModV5.0.0 from A10 (the free one) Yanosik, Waze, Chrome, F-Cam do not work, there was a problem with the Play Store a moment ago before logging into any account, all the updates in the store have been installed, now they cannot be uninstalled, because there is no way to enter the store because it stops working :( everything disappears for a moment) I have either the format to the factory settings or option 2, which I would personally prefer to return to A9, but having the update.zip file from the manufacturer of my Pumpkin radio, I get an error that it is impossible to downgrade from Android 10 to 9!

So I'm asking experienced users here how to downgrade to A9 without Mod Installer Pro because I have a free version of Hal9k V5.0.0

PS. I found on YT how to do but I just need this Mod Installer Pro application.

Well my px6 dasaita unit is getting very frustrating. Half apps crash on start up. I tried uninstalling web viewer bit now I cant log in to my apps because the screen is so scrambled. Is this an issue if completely uninstall 9k rom? Is their an update that will let this mod work as before May 9th update?

Just for info : i have same bug on android 9 / v4 with Waze 4.83. I just downgrade to Waze 4.80 and its fine

    Even if you downgrade webview you also need an older version of chrome.

    Hope for a fix but with the war i would not bet for a fast one.

    About firmware:
    Firmware for car head units based on MTCx or HCTx platform with Rockchip PX5, PX6 or PX30 processors and screen resolution 800x480, 1024x600, 1280x720, 1920x1080 based on Android 10.

    How do I install the firmware?
    When switching from any other firmware, you need to wipe user data!

    For stable operation of the device, it is recommended to update the MCU firmware to the current one, released in March 2021 or later.
    If there is no such firmware for your device, use the latest available one.
    MCU firmware can be obtained from your radio dealer or look here
    MTCE versions can be installed instead of MTCD

    If you have Android 10 installed:
    The installation is similar to a regular firmware update:
    1. Copy the firmware file update.zip to a USB flash drive / memory card formatted in FAT32
    2. Connect the USB flash drive / memory card to the device
    3. Set the "Wipe data ..." checkbox and click the "Install" button in the window that appears.
    4. After installation, the device will automatically reboot one more time to complete the Magisk installation.
    Installing from a SD memory card may take longer!

    If you have Android 9, 8 or 6 installed:
    Requires updating the recovery version to Android10
    • Simple and safe way: Use the ModInstaller Pro application (link to the application in the readme.txt file, which is located in the archive with the firmware or in my signature at the bottom of this post)
    • Complicated and unsafe way: look for information on this forum

    Q: Bluetooth SD-968 does not work, although everything worked in Android 8!
    A: If the SD-968 Bluetooth module with firmware made in March 2017 or earlier is installed in your HU, then it works in Android 8, but does not work in Android 9 and 10.
    Solution: replace the module driver /system/bin/sdsdk968 with the old version. Do not forget to set permissions 755 on the file.

    Bluetooth module MD725 not working in Android 10

    Mod is a modified factory firmware.
    I can only be responsible for the changes in the device that I made. All of them are listed in the "List of changes" section.
    Everything else, both good and bad, is inherited from the factory firmware.
    I try to fix bugs found in the stock, but this I can’t always do it.

    Hi Hal9k,

    Just wanted to say thanks for making this. I know that doing such things is a huge amount of work and even doing "small" things from the user's perspective can be days of effort.

    I have installed the mod using your mod installer, spent the past hour reinstalling everything and setting it up just the way I like it. No drama, no issues. It just worked and now I have a newer version of Android installed which runs a little faster.

    People tend to only comment here if they are having issues. I blame human nature. I just wanted to tip the balance a little in the other direction with this comment.

    To anyone else reading this: just pay for the updates if you like it. It's €10 for some excellent software which clearly has a lot of effort and love spent on it, and is a fantastic deal.

    That's really not fair to @Hal9k_

    Saying "flopped" is attacking the character, not addressing the issues. It's not OK here.

    If there are issues these would need to be detailed.

    Note:
    If you installed update 5.1.0 today and have a problem with Magisk v24:
    OTA packages updated tonight.
    You need to reinstall 5.0.0 and updates. Without a wipe data!
    With a next install of the 5.1.0 package, Magisk data will be cleared and it will work fine.
