Low (max:) Brightness

has anyone noticed lower brightness in havoc 3.5 vs previous? Or maybe I am going blind...

For sure it's so much lower than stock rom (latest) (I didn't tried Havoc 3.4 and lower so I don't know how it was in previous versions). I can't even use smartphone outside :D please fix it, bcs its awesome ROM :)

Nope, it's definitely lower. I noticed because 'smart pixels' finally works for me and the brightness just went way down and even with smart pixels off it's still not as bright. I have no problem with that, I actually like the lowered brightness, but my issue is that autobrightness doesn't react well anymore.

Guys please help me, I am trying to get this ROM to work on my phone without the vibration issue.
Here are the steps I have taken:

1. I downloaded the May update from Asus's website
2. I booted into TWRP and Formated the phone 2 times one is slot A the other in slot B
3. I flashed the May update stock firmware into Slot A
4. Rebooted into TWRP again and flashed stock firmware into Slot B
5. Rebooted again into TWRP flashed Havoc 3.5 Slot A
6. Rebooted again into TWRP and flashed Havoc 3.5 into Slot B
The phone boots normally except that I have the vibration issue still present
Note: The previous firmware before May's update was android Pie

Thoughts?

Thanks

What version of stock did you flash before flashing Havoc?

Is it only me or does the stock camera app not have a button to switch to the wide angle lens? I might be blind, but I can't find it anywhere.

I'm not using Havoc right now, but I do read the telegram group a bit. It's not you dude! It is missing from the current build, dev knows about it but hasn't said when it'll be fixed, hopefully next build, but like I say, not sure exactly when :)

Anyone else has this bug, that the bottom part (roughly 1/4) becomes unresponsive after a period of time (every 2-3 days)? Restart is the only solution but it keeps coming back.

Even with magisk hide on, Havoc still does not pass safety net for me. It doesn't pass without magisk installed either. Just doesn't pass at all.

I reinstalled by factory resetting/wiping data, flashing stock to both slots, and then flashing havoc. This seemed to solve the safety net fail, but once I installed edxposed (the same version I had passing on stock) safety net tripped and remained tripped even when I uninstalled magisk and edxposed. Enabling or disabling magisk hide had no effect.

Turns out that edxposed ceases to pass safety net if you restore a TWRP backup where it was passing. If it continues to fail after you remove edxposed, clear google play services and google play store data. Wasn't caused by the rom.

The weirdest glitch I've ever experienced with this ROM. Not a big deal and I found a solution that's why I want to share it with you guys.
Usually I download youtube videos via New Pipe app to listen to them offline in background via MX Player with my bluetooth earbuds . When I listen to any of those videos and I have an incoming call, my phone makes a loud sound out of its speakers and shuts down or freezes with its screen totally off (I'm not able to detect what's going on but I hear a message in my earbuds that they are disconnected). The only option for me is to turn it on/restart it by pressing Power button.
I have 3 different earbud brands, so it's not about specific earbuds.
Now I moved to VLC Player, no issues so far. I don't like the player but at least there are no shutdowns/freezes.

Would be really great if you could tell us the things that are 'Working / Not Working' in this build. For e.g. AirTriggers, Vibration motor etc..
Am really excited to try this out but would like to know beforehand of such details, if you'd be so kind.

AirTriggers and armoury crate. Don't work on customROMS.
Vibration currently are really crappy Fixed in 15-05-2020 build

I highly suggest donating to OP. He did this as a favor for us. He doesn't have the device, so any help would be nice.

Vibration doesn't work, no air triggers, no armory crate and no vibration.

PLEASE don't ask about air triggers or armory crate...They probably will never work. Need them? Stay on stock.

    THANKS OP!:good:
    6
... THE MAIN THING IS AIRTRIGGERS MAKE SURE FOR FIX IT...
WHY? And since when is the norm to demand fixes or features?

For now, I think people should stop complaining already. It has been barely a month since the first Custom ROM was released. Pretty sure in near future we will have great ROMs with RGB etc., but for now enjoy this ROM or the LineageOS ROM.
