I followed the steps u did except somethings were unticked and I couldn't enable them in self check. Everything else other than that I did it the way u told me to. When I installed google from aurora store it said it can't work without play services :crying:. Any solutions to that? Any help would be appreciated

It all has to be ticked (except location, it isn't needed for playstore to work) send a screenshot of your microg self check page
Simple. Go to playstore app permissions and enable signature spoofing permission and also check if microg has the permission enabled also
Ya you need playstore or fakestore. Try fakestore from the fdroid repo, it's just a placeholder app with play store package name that fools the device into thinking you have playstore installed.

Install nanodroid playstore as a flashable zip just search XDA for the nanodroid thread

@Alone Boy (AB) and @Faisaldwihantono just to clarify on the matter, his problem is what phone he has. the j500N0 is the J5ltekx, not the j5lte as i previously said. The problem is that samsung did not update his device. He is stuck on lolipop bl. https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-j5/firmware/#SM-J500N0
He is not able to get an update beyond 7.1.2, as most if not all projects used marshmallow from that point on.
yesterday I installed the lineageOS 17.1 by hiru is working, but the data sim didn't work
I have no idea who that guy is, but apparently he makes the N0 variant builds, although he does not appear to have contributed to the galaxy-msm8916 repos.
I would try swapping his install script for the one in this rom and see what happens.

J500n0 only 1 slot sim card and not supported VOLTE in firmware rom
i am talking about msm extend rom.

I got miner bug that is: after restart, call preference is automatically change into sim1, but i set it into "ask every time"
