With update from 2 weeks ago I had massive issues with regular cell connection. I was not able to place calls or take calls, and text messages did not arrive nor I was able to send.

A rollback feature would be awesome and would help people to raise trust in the use of LineageOS.

I just noticed a new version of LineageOS was released, 20220626 so only two days after the previous 20220624 instead of the usual 7 days (see attached screenshot).

Good news or bad? Anyone installed it already? How well is it working for you?

I'm sticking with 20220610, which is the one I originally installed, despite some minor issues -- until I hear something stable had come along.

Calls, Wifi does not work. Random freezes, as well as restarts.

I would like to understand how it comes that the functionality of this version is so much worse compared to the one from early June. What has introduced this regression?

This is *not* to blame anyone, I would really like to understand the reasons.

Could you provide us with some guidance how to collect logs in order to be beneficial to developers?
Connect your phone with USB and adb on.
Open cmd , and run adb logcat , play with the problems on your phone to give info on logcat.Press Ctrl+A , copy paste on .txt file . Sent it to Dev .

Got that, however the lat bit not quite straight forward, do you happen to have dev point of contact to pass the logs?

Hi all, having issues from the 24th of June update I have now updated to 1st of July update. Before this I couldn't make or receive calls and messages, wifi/bluetooth/airplane mode connectivity issues..... Now I can make calls, send messages, wifi connectivity and bluetooth seem to work but I still can't receive calls/texts. For me, receiving texts is very important since that is how I log in on some government accounts. Using Signal for calls and texts works fine though, for anyone interested.

Thanks for your feedback. Please notify us if there will be random reboots/shutdowns through the day/s.

OK, I managed to show that my device is certified. Thank you very much!

What did you guys change in MagiskHideP Props Config to pass safety net?
I forced BASIC attestation and use the certified RN9Pro Android 10 fingerprint. SafetyNet passes fine, but I added every app I don't want to check for root to Magisk's deny list as well. I also renamed the Magisk app via its setting.
I don't use Netflix, but every banking app runs fine.

Whenever possible I use the most similar fingerprint to what the device is and which system version it is running.
In this case, I personally decided to use the exact hardware match (RN9Pro) and the previous Android version, which is similar enough to not run into compatibility issues with any apps I use.

Can anyone confirm these 2 problems?

    1. When phone is locked, and you later try to wake it up with power button. Nothing happens and u have to force reboot
    2. In regular usage, sometimes phone will just freeze up and reboot by itself

Both of these happen very rarely like once every few days

As I couldn't find RN9Pro in the device list I used Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Global and now also pass SaftyNet test. I also renamed Magisk and put every app that doesn't need root on the denylist.
But I still can't find Netflix in the PlayStore. Any ideas?
Search for Redmi, not Xiaomi. If you passed attestation, clear play store and play services cache and data and restart the phone.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11.0 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

When I put a call on speaker, the other party does not hear me anymore. I'm sure this worked at one point, don't know when/how it broke. Anyone else with that issue?

I was struggling with passing safetynet + cts in particular but in the end this seems to have worked (if anyone is sturggling with this):
    - magisk 24 + zygisk + hide magisk app
    - denylist: google play services cms + cms.unstable
    - universal safetyfix 2.2.1
    - hide props: Google Pixel 5 A11

    The problematic line is
    Code:
    ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=none
and it is fixed with changing it to
    Code:
    ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=fluence
