I have been running the LineageOS 19.1 on my Note 9S since about September (and it keeping updated about every other week). Since I made the switch to Lineage I have had a problem with video playback stopping after a 1 to 2 days in several apps all at the same time (a reboot fixes it)
Apps where video playback stops include WhatsApp, Reddit (and clones), Facebook, Twitter, Messenger. I expect others may have failed but I tend to just reboot so will perform some more checks next time.
Given they all fail at the same time I think it must be either Lineage, a driver or a firmware issue.
I have been running the latest EU firmware since the end of November, (V13.0.2.0.SJWEUXM), prior to this I was running V13.0.1.0.
I have only seen one other report similar to this in this thread but no solution. So I am wondering if other people have this problem and if not any ideas why I might be experiencing it?
Same here, on pixelexperience and lineageos too. Reboot fixes it.

just delete addon.d folder from a file manager or recovery
Yes, this would be another option, but I found the OrangeFox option quicker if I'm already in recovery mode than navigating (and remembering lol) the path to addon.d.

Anyway, my response was regarding the video playback issue which I don't seem to have (with MicroG fwiw). It was a shot in the dark to suspect a leftover Gapps installation via survival script, if Gapps even interfere with default media playback.
Google invades more and more with their propietary app replacements, so you'll never know.

All seems fine on my end, discounting the aforementioned "issue" I have when leaving aeroplane mode and the system auto-switching to a recent settings page.

Not everyone is using ofx I think that's why I've replied!

Strange, I just tested Lineage's Gallery and it played fine, as well as Simple Gallery.
I never noticed it ever since and I rarely reboot my device.
One thing to note however, I'm on a LOS for MicroG build, but that shouldn't "improve" anything.
Maybe try a clean installation again. The only bigger issues I had over the last months were force-close ones, but these came from leftover addon.d scripts. (If you're on Orangefox Recovery, there's an option somewhere to delete these survival scripts. Maybe for Gapps, if you're using them)
I deleted the leftover scripts as you suggested (I use OrangeFoxRecovery) and I have been running the 6th Jan version of Lineage. So far I am at 4 days with all the videos still working, so it is looking positive as it normally only works for about 1 to 2 days. If it goes wrong again I will post a follow-up.

There is a chance that our phone will get MIUI 14.

It's still working? I've been having the same problem for several weeks now and I'd rather not watch videos than have to reboot every day or two... I'm willing to change the recovery and install OrangeFoxRecovery to delete the survival scripts if this solves the problem. Thanks in advance for the answer

Keep in mind that deleting survival scripts has things like Magisk or Gapps overwritten the next flash, I think.
It is only recommended for clean flashes or if Gapps or Magisk are installed again afterwards (or if you are certain of what you want to accomplish). If something essential is missing, you might get force-close loops after a reboot and render your system more unstable.

And as @foneiamone has said, you may simply delete the addon.d folder (can't remember the exact location as mentioned before lol), so you won't need to flash Orangefox for this ability.

Thanks for the warning, I hadn't realized those details. I will look for the addon.d folder and I’ll try to remove it from the phone. Thanks for the help :)

I always have to reflash Magisk after ROM flash so I'm not sure if this folder is actually present and causing problems.

No, it didn't work in the long run. It seemed to work for about 5 days, then it came back. About 3 weeks ago I ended up wiping the phone and reinstalling it due to a bad upgrade but I still have the same problem even after the complete wipe. I have basically gotten into the habit of rebooting in the morning now.

I have a problem with two banking apps here in my country, i can't pass photo/video verification in them (the image is blurred/bad quality). In other banking apps I can do it. This happens only in los rom, There's no such problem in stock miui rom at all. Has anyone faced this? Any solution?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11.0 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

I was struggling with passing safetynet + cts in particular but in the end this seems to have worked (if anyone is sturggling with this):
    - magisk 24 + zygisk + hide magisk app
    - denylist: google play services cms + cms.unstable
    - universal safetyfix 2.2.1
    - hide props: Google Pixel 5 A11

When I put a call on speaker, the other party does not hear me anymore. I'm sure this worked at one point, don't know when/how it broke. Anyone else with that issue?

    The problematic line is
    Code:
    ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=none
and it is fixed with changing it to
    Code:
    ro.vendor.audio.sdk.fluencetype=fluence

Ok, then first los recovery, then lastest miui and then this rom.
    Thank you!
no sir these are not the right steps:
    1 flash miui
    2 flash los recovery
    3 wipe from recovery
    4 flash rom
    5 flash gapps (optional)
    6 reboot and enjoy
7 i usually flash magisk after first reboot
