INSTALLATION

- Boot into your recovery

- Flash RevengeOS build

- Optional: flash FlameGApps

- Reboot

- Optional: flash MagiskCU

- Optional: flash DFE

- Optional: flash Magisk stable ONLY AFTER MagiskCU

Just wipe data, dalvik-art cache, and cache? System is not included for clean flash? I'm used to wiping system as well so I had to make sure.

just installing the latest version, testing the mic and it doesn't go well. it has very small audio volume when try to recording sound. is there any fix about this?

greeting guys, I have a favor to ask. I'm a complete newbie to nowaday android's zips stuff and especially MIUI. I carefully read the installation instruction for cepheus, which is Mi 9, but I'm still a bit confused. According to the instruction, my device needs to be on firmware v12.0.3 which is kinda latest version, and I only need to wipe data, cache and dalvik in order to install Revenge. But according to my device's history, it was on latest MIUI version which is 12.0.4 when I unlocked it then wipe all 5 partitions (data, vendors, cache, system, dalvik) and format data using twrp latest official version for cepheus in order to flash Havoc OS and then xiaomi.eu's 12.5 build Do I have to flash the latest official firmware and MIUI or vendors for my device once again, like restore it to factory state with the exception of TWRP before I can install Revenge OS ?

my device didn't support more than 3 finger,then i turned off swipe to take screenshoot,than,it support 10 finger.But i need swipe to take screenshot also.Hope it will be fixed next update.

Hi. I'm interested in using this ROM, but I have a question. The post only talks about installing the ROM, but how would one go about updating it when a new version releases? Is there OTA updates, do I need to redownload the ROM from xda? Is there a notification system that tells me there is a new version? Thanks!

Actually no, there's only the gesture bar length customization.

After using 3 days,today sudden reboot while scrolling old message in messenger app.Never happened before and after.May be gcam was running in background is the reason.I am happy with everything else although i have to sacrifice anx cam.

Sad to hear. Maybe it's caused by magisk, if you have it installed.

After using almost 10+ days,i must say,it is the most stable version.No random reboot,good battery backup with excellent performance.Although i miss anx camera and swipe to screenshot(as it capped maximum finger support at 3),this rom is soo good that i am willing to sacrifice them.

Some notes:
- Dirty flash possible!
- FW NOT included! Flash latest China or 12.0.5.0 EEA/Global.
- If WiFi doesn't work for you, then your persist is broken.
- GApps suggested: NikGapps/FlameGapps basic.
