Anyone knows if this release support the Headset or handsfree BT profiles?
Even though i know GSM calls are not possible, VOIP apps like GrooveIP and others can certainly use a Bluetooth headset to make proper calls.
Has anyone tried to paid a BT headset with this ROM and does it pair as a headset or just A2DP device?

The Headset and handfree profiles were missing from the original stock firmware.

Thank you,
Jonathan.
Can only pair a "Media" headset, no handsfree or headset ...

(well you can pair a headset it just does not do anything :( ... )

Forgive my ignorance on this, I have normally just messed with my HTC HD2. Per your instructions, there are mutipule .bat files in the D/L. I'm assuming these are for SD card sizes?

I decided to buy a referb. Streak 7 from T-Mobile, just wanted to make sure I use the correct .bat. when I flash it.

Thanks.

NVM search is your friend....You choose the amount of app storage, 2gb, 3gb, and so on. I selected 4gb which is plenty for my needs. Those who use large or numerous apps may require more space and can go up to 6gb. Some like to use internal card for storage and may prefer less app storage for increased data, music, video, etc.

Problem: `adb devices` does not list the device running this ROM.
Details: Windows 7 64-bit, Device Manager in Control Panel does not list the device at all except for 'streak7' under 'Portable Devices', which is understandable since it is a portable device. However, I need to access the device for developing Android. APX drivers work. ADB has worked in the past (under 2.2 FroYo).

What device's ROM is HoneyStreak based on now? (Should I get that device's driver(s)?) How do I get Windows to see the ADB device? USB debugging under the Applications menu is turned on (although, even if it is off, if you plug the device into USB, it gives the notification about being in debug mode, which is mentioned earlier in this thread.)

Has anyone been able to access their device through ADB?

EDIT: Using WiFi version of Release 2 on US WiFi Only Streak 7.

Cwm recovery should allow adb and is included In the latest build........ haven't tested it but worth a shot.

Is google talk video chat working in these releases? I tried, but still getting the issue where they can hear me, but I can't hear them.

Second question, now that the release is split into a wifi or tmo option - if I use my tmobile s7 exclusively as a wifi model, should I install the wifi build?

Thanks dj_steve for making my s7 amazing!

Mine shows in adb devices ....

I used the drivers right from the SDK, but I had to do a force install, you know, "select from a list of drivers, then do have disk" Honeycomb uses different drivers than FroYo

I've had no problems with the Amazon App on my WiFi model. I did have that problem on my Streak 5, deleted the app, cleared dalvik and reinstalled and it worked fine.

I tried that. Didn't work. Since I flash my devices all the time, I had to many authorized devices on my Amazon account. Just unauthorized all of them and re-register them and presto! It signed in...

Windows 7 rejected all the drivers I could throw at it. I tried the Dell drivers (from Drivers.zip, although I figured they wouldn't work) I tried the SDK driver, but I think it is supposed to be modified for the Streak 7. Or did you use the fresh driver package as-is downloaded straight from Google? SDK driver r4?

Force Close

First DJ, it has been a pleasure reading up on all of pages in this thread & the work you have done without the actual source code has been fantastic.

I know this Rom can't be everything to everyone because then you would probable need a 320 GB hard drive...LOL.

I have been rooting phones for the last three years & it has been a ball.

Back to point:

My Streak 7 is wi fi only version.

Everything on this rom works fantastic. Of course there will be random force closes but that shouldn't take away from the experience of using this tablet.

Maybe you can help me out here. My wife has a Nook Color that I want to replace with this tablet for obvious reasons. When I installed the Barnes & Noble Nook for Android app everything worked fine. I could sign in with her info & get her stuff downloaded.

The problem is in the orientation. Everything works perfect in landscape mode & from their I can go into portrait mode & if I am careful, can continue reading. as soon as I bump or move suddenly, it force closes. Will not do that in landscape mode.

I then downloaded FBReader which lets you read .epub files & it worked in both modes with no problem so I am assuming it is an app specific problem (I think)

Would changing density or anything else solve this problem? Would really love to sell the Nook Color & give this to her.

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I have read in this thread that some people were having trouble with the Amazon Kindle App as well, but don't know what problems they were having.

im going to guess that the app isnt designed for honeycomb and doesn support the xlarge image formats properly so is having issues, i doubt a change of density would help, but you could try dropping it to 105 and seeing what that does
