Thanks for the rom, however I would have expected the gear to think it was now an US or AU or even SG version.

However it still boots with the original Korean text.... (watch was bought from Korean retailer)

Since I believe Singapore is one of the few countries that have enabled Samsung Pay on gear s3 I was hoping this rom would make a difference.... Unfortunately nooo

I wonder where the region/area setting really is kept..

Shouldn't be necessary since CSC is the same with my SGP frontier but wonders why it doesn't work.

Your right, there must be something else.

There must be something else (a setting) in the bootloader or something. My watch starts up with korean text.....

My watch has the same ap and csc but still no spay

Before you flash it, you can just untar the csc file. You will notice a few wgt files inside. There is no Spay wgt inside. There is no need to try. Unless someone can extract the spay wgt.

I cant get Odin to see my watch. I have connected it through wifi with the watch set in AP mode. The watch keeps saying connection timed out (110)Failed to connect. Anyone know how to get around this? I have tried Odin 3 version 1.0 and version 3.12.5.

I had that the first time and it was fixed when i disabled antivirus firewall..

and another thing, have the watch for 5 days now days now, it came with APK6 version, and I remember the "cover screen to switch it off" was working fine, but since I flashed APK7 it doesn't seem to work, I tried looking at settings and disabling AOD, and auto dim, but nothing helped. So is anyone else having the same issue, I'm not sure if its removed from the latest update or just mine is broken?

It has stand alone galaxy apps but only shows some most downloaded free apps.

If you are thinking that installing other firmware will get you esim features, you are looking at the wrong place. Esim version is different the one sold in India is only WiFi version.

I hope this update is without root...I want to flash this firmware because my s3 frontier is bought from Spain and I want to change to UK...is possible with this firmware?
