hi i have just flashed 1.4 and jobs a good one really like this rom is there any battery improvements with this release as 1.3 my battery drained like mad

search key

i have just noticed when i press the search key quick launch comes up but then when i select the magnifying glass bing search does not launch i set the search key to defult bing search and nothing happens have you striped the bing search function out of this rom

i have tried that and the bing search still wont work nothing is displayed, with setting the search button and in quick launch it just throws me out to the application menu

right i tried a hard reset and reflash of the rom and bing search still doesnt show up think this could be a bug in the rom its self, i flashed the previous version and that worked fine but on the 1.4 it is a no go

Bing is not working for me either. Tried both US and UK under Settings | System | Region+Language | Browser & search language. Interestingly, selecting search from Settings | Applications also does nothing, and if IE is set to use Bing as search provider, this fails too. Its almost like Bing is missing from the ROM.

Possibly unrelated, Maps will not start.

This ROM is amazing! Everything seems to be working, and battery life is great. The only addition I'd like to see is English (UK) as a selectable language. Otherwise, perfect!

It's not a port, it's original OS version from MS.

Can anybody recommend a registry editor that works with WP 7.8? I cannot delete the registry key containing the activation code.
I tried with Julien Schampan's 1.2.0.0 and couldn't do it (I did enable root access, of course).

Use RootTools. Only this editor working correctly on Nokia.
