Is it possible there's something wrong with banks latest gapps? Google play services stops working frequently and pops up a message saying "Unfortunately, Google Play services stopped working." I also get this on different roms. :confused:

Flash last Bootloader and radio, full wipe + flash rom and latest Bancks, everything perfect.

So I noticed that if I update google search app via the playstore and then flash the latest banks gapps, the search app disappears after reboot. Then I tried uninstalling the playstore update of the system app before flashing and it worked. Shouldn't those updates be merged/deleted automatically after flashing a system app from gapps which has the same version as the previously installed playstore update?

It might have something to do with banks latest changelog entry, I don't really understand what is meant by that:

Remove newer versions of Google App and Google Play Services in /data exists

Are you flashing immediately after flashing the ROM (during the same TWRP session)?

Try installing the ROM, booting the phone, then shutting down and returning again to TWRP. Then flash the GApps.

Or try: flash the ROM, unmount system, flash gapps.

It definitely is 5.1 gapps and I've tried booting up after flashing the ROM then again went into twrp to flash the gapps but still it gave me the same error..
Even SuperSU didn't get flashed properly

    android-5.0.0_r6 has been merged soon after the new tag appeared in aosp. I'm delaying the new build, because I'm re-thinking many things: with lollipop much has changed but mostly the way I want android has changed. Lollipop is a very nice system, I've been running it since the first preview and I've got to love it the way it is.
    rastapop will reflect this new feeling.
    New build will be available soon

    let me speak my mind
    i've started building aosp long time ago, just because i was curios and with a nexus phone it was very easy. for long time, i didn't care about opening a new thread and make my builds public. i didn't care because i was not looking for anything, i only wanted to learn and have fun.
    then morfic and simms pushed me to share my builds in the trinity thread where few other people started to know about my work. since then, nothing has changed in my mind, I am still more interested in my own fun (and weed) than in downloads/users numbers. call me selfish, call me ass, but this is the way i am. i don't like to show off and act like the dev, because i am not. the features you find in my build are only those I really care for and the ones i can understand the code. there is no fun for me to build a slimmed down cm or a build full of features: i am not as good, and i am not that interested in tons of modification of the pure os.
    since my build landed in xda, I have been contacted by many people who wanted to learn to build aosp but, with my great disappointment, they only wanted to show off. and this is what hurts more to me: people asking me about everything, git, java, python, linux, c, everything, and once they feel confident and master the cherry-pick skill, they are there opening threads, acting like the most skilled developers in the world, and they forgot about the hands that helped them. i see things all over github that make me laugh and cry. this makes me so sad. mostly because I believe those are not sincere and the main reason they build android is to feel cool and read about how good your rom is. i know this is xda, and this is the way the world is. this is why i love my family, my friends, my weed, my life and android is only a small part of it.
    the thing that makes me really happy and i am really proud of is to see how relaxed and cool are you people in my threads, everything else doesn't matter. there is not a best rom, but sure there is still people that believe honesty is a great quality.
    peace guys
