Me, too. I also wonder about making a Nandroid backup using TWRP.

To me, it seems TWRP has been relegated to very specific (helpful, but not essential) tasks. I remember when it was the go-to tool for almost every task. Also seems like many of the TWRPs out there are not even official. So, yeah

I also wonder if one could use fastbootD to make or restore a complete phone backup. Or even a partial backup, like data-only.

Well, I was disappointed with Lineage, and CRDroid 7.5 just boot-looped back to fastboot mode.

So I'm back on Havoc 3.12 and happy again. I doubt I'll have firmware envy anymore for the life of this phone.

It takes me a day to set up my phone, so this time I'm running Nova instead of the default Shadow as Nova is just better, and lets you back up its settings for all the desktop layouts to save tons of time.

@Quantumstate. My setup exactly. My only problem is that I can't get Android Auto to connect to my phone.

If I ever I find out, I'll try to post on this thread.

I also like this ROM, but wonder whether I might like another ROM better. Too bad about Android Auto. I don't have even an old car, let alone a new model supporting AA. 😭

On the subject of complaining, I'm not really able to wrap my little brain around telegram. Where the hep young cats post their ROMs. Seems like a janky way to communicate or even graze. I find myself doing a ton of backward scrolling.

I'm running Havoc 3.12 and like it a lot, but I need to update and hide Magisk so I can watch TV on the phone using the Spectrum TV App. But I forgot how to boot TWRP. Can someone help? This time I'll make a Google Keep note. Thanks
You forgot the command?
fastboot boot twrp.img
In a CMD or PowerShell window

So my sofia is running free of Google on this ROM. Everything seems working properly. I turned on the Smart Charging and set the up level at 80%. After a whole night charging, I found the battery level is at 100%. Did I do anything wrong? Or I'm supposed to turn on the option to reset the statistics? A big thank you to the OP. @Beetle84

I've run G**gle free for a year. I first get all the apps I can from F-Droid, and get the rest from APKPure, which has all the apps Play has, but you don't need to register.

A few apps say they -require- Play. Some simply refuse to run (Lyft), but others go ahead and work anyway after complaining (SSHDroid).

What a joy it is to be free of The Greatest Data Mining Operation In The History Of The World.

PS - Yes I rooted with Magisk. Avoid TWRP for this phone.
