i had twrp installed so what i did was flash the o:good: original recovery then it worked

when i go into chat messages to enable chat features it says my device is not supported but it was when it was on stock??? moto g fast

I am using stock recovery and doing it from fastbootd mode, but it says me that product and system partition does not exits

Fixed, I was thought that I must type fastboot flash system system.img instead of fastboot flash system_a system.img

I can't seem to get USB debugging to work on the latest 3.1.2, the security notice thing never pops up even after factory wiping the ROM
Also when trying to boot twrp it never seems to be able to decrypt the filesystem even if I remove the password.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong for either of these?

My fault mate, check post 3 for a new build with ADB fixed, and the overlay detection works now too.

Thanks for the fast fix, adb and the layout now both work with no problems. I still can't figure out why I have problems with twrp though.

I think you might be using an older version of twrp, which might not have been decrypting right, or its related to booting and not installing twrp.
The latest version vache built that i have (linked) has fastboot d support as well.
So you can install twrp, reboot to fastboot d from twrp and flash roms

Thanks, I think I just grabbed an old one from the thread on here. Now I have magisk installed and even microg.
Really nice ROM it's very smooth, only things to note are that the Moto Audio app always crashes when opening and there is no FM radio app for the device. Aside from these small things there is nothing to complain about though.

Yeah the moto audio app crashes on every Rav rom.

I have been testing the ROM and it seems good to go! Just couple of things to comment on.

Fingerprint
As usual in the initial setup it would offer to save your fingerprint, but in this case it did not. I went to settings and manually did this. After installing some apps that offered biometric authentication (PayPal, Microsoft Authenticator) the feature was not offered or failed to confirm the device's fingerprint. But the fingerprint works for device unlock.

System gestures
This is just a minor issue, but when in the home screen when swiping up from the bottom it does not always show the recent app page as expected. Not sure if this is the Pixel side of things or Havoc OS. I attached a video below to demonstrate.

If there are any more problems I encounter I will let you know. Thanks for porting this ROM
