@Beetle84. I'm currently running TWRP 3.5.0-10-0 and your Havoc 4.6. I have downloaded the 4.8 GAPPS. I tried and failed to create a Nandroid backup, and I'm tentatively ready to flash it, but I don't want to f*** it up. Hence, the Nandroid attempt. I previously installed 4.6 using fastbootd. So, as I understand your current instruction all I have to do is boot to fastboot and use fastboot to boot TWRP and flash the 4.8 zip file. Am I right? And can I then flash Magisk, etc? Can I recover 4.6 if it fails? Thanks

Try to make a backup to inteenal storage, then tranfer to your pc until you need it, restoring should go fine from the sd card.

You should be fine to flash 4.8 over 4.6 as you described, as long as you have done an ota update at some stage in the past to populate your b slot.

I don't recall doing so, and I searched my phone's Micro SD Card and I don't find any evidence of it.

@Beetle84 Any progress on fixing FM Radio on 4.8? I'm on 4.6 at the moment since radio works, but double tap to wake is seemingly broken. Thanks for your hard work!

No progress, havent even looked at it mate, been working on another device.
As for dt2w, it wont work on any version.
4.8 has tap to wake working, not dt2w though

Is it too late for me to prep the B slot on my own phone?
[EDIT re Slots A & B issue] I just received my sister-in-laws new XT2041-1 (Moto G8 Power 2020 / Sofia) and turned it on. It automatically installed updates. Is that the same as an initial OTA as you mentioned, above? If so, I'm certain that I did that on my own Sofia the first time I booted it. To be sure of this, I just booted into TWRP and I saw 2 both Slots. See attached photo. If so, should I still flash the fastboot images, as you suggested, above, to upgrade my own phone to your Havoc 4.8, or just use TWRP? I await your reply before I upgrade my phone and install your Havoc 4.8, GAPPS, Magisk, and various apps on my sister-in-laws new phone.

Difficult to say whether the upper limitation is working or not because the feature rescales the charge percentage if working. But the limit for resume charging does not work on my sofiar, so it is hard to believe that the stop charge limit does work.

yeah it worked on stock, I ended up flashing back to stock, rooted it and just pulled the apn file off that and reflashed havoc and replaced the apn file with the stock one and works a treat.

Now if android auto would work I'd be a completely happy camper, it installed when I first plug in but won't launch on the head unit, tried both ford and dodge and it's a

You have that 'bootloader unlocked' warning to contend with. Doesn't matter if you flash stock back on it or leave it with HavocOS, your market is very limited. In fact, leave Havoc - it's a terrific way to explain - "why, of course I unlocked the bootloader - I installed this sweet, secure custom ROM!"

Then, watch them want it. Good luck.

which version of havoc did you install and on what exact phone are you using ? Having the same problem with the apn with verizon using havoc 4.6 non google version it won't allow me to change or add apn setting to get it working on my moto g stylus factory unlocked cdma gsm 2020 version anything that can help me as it did you would be appreciated
