Hi there, the touchscreen is not working for me on XT2041-4 after flashing. Is anyone else having the same problem? The flashing process went smoothly, but I did get an error message:

Hey man I just want to say thank you for pointing me at the right direction, It was indeed a Fastbootd issue for me.
But I had to tinker around with updating my ADB and fastboot driver to get it to work, otherwise, it will just be stuck in bootloader mode.
Anyways now I have a working phone with great gsi, thank you and thank all the developers who put their time and effort into those devices
Cheers
(this ROM is amazing btw, loving it so far)

I must say, this is by far the best custom rom i've tried for my phone. Works well, really well. I only have two questions, and the first one is that I cant find the option of wifi-calls anywhere, though I am pretty sure its there in the stock fw? Any ideas, or am I mistaken about it in the stock fw?

Number two is that you cant edit any of the permissions for the "google" app, it always have all of them activaded, and theyre all greyed out. No biggie though, because you can disable the app completely to avoid google to track your whereabouts.

Yes, Wifi calling is in stock fw

I'm on the sofiap using big red (Verizon) Volte enabled but wifi calling won't stick. I usually have to reboot in certain places (maybe roaming or extended network areas) to get Data/LTE working but Ive been in love with Havoc for a long time now.

I have a bunch of links bookmarked on getting wifi calling to work but have went through them all yet. If anyone knows a quick and dirty way to get it humming let me know please.

Signal is crap in the mountains here. (Appalachia)

Thinking about going to ting. They're an MVNO that utilizes wifi calling to keep costs down and they use all 4 major networks. 00

Smart Charging doesn't work. Using Advanced Charging Controller through Magisk as a workaround. After my Razer Phone 2 battery crapped out on me this feature is an absolute need to keep batteries in good condition lol.

Other than that, everything else works beautifully. The customization features baked right into the rom removed my need to even use xposed. Everything is running buttery smooth despite being underclocked and running only 4 cores.

Hi there, can you educate me on the CPU situation about this ROM? I did some google search but haven't found the answer I wanted. What do you mean by "being underclocked and running only 4 cores"? Is that something to do with all GSI ROMs or is it device specific? Thanks in advance!

I use Franco Kernel Manager to tune the CPU settings to my liking. I don't really game on mobile, aside from GBC and SNES through RetroArch, so I use FKM to underclock and turn off 4 cores. Just a quick and dirty way to save some more battery life. Works on all ROMs available, including stock, if you use the magisk app to patch the boot.img.

Install the Magisk app, move the boot.img to your phone's storage, then patch the boot.img through Magisk. Then move the patched boot.img to your computer, restart your phone into fastbootd, and install the patched boot.img to get root with Magisk.

Does your carrier support it? If you ever do install the rom, shoot me a message. I have something to try.. my carrier doesn't support it so i cant test it at all.
Yes, TMobile.

I had Havoc on my X4 and really liked it, but don't have time to mess with it unless someone is able to use wifi calling. I know it works with stock.

Im in australia and use a cheap arse carrier with no volte/vowifi support . I have enabled it in settings, and the options are on, but greyed out in the *#*#4636#*#* menu.

If you ever do have a bit of spare time to flash havoc, let me know and i can send you a file to change ;)

Or anyone on T-Mobile or another carrier that supports volte/wifi.

Yes it's grayed-out in my X4 Havoc phone too.

I can try the file on that one. It's rooted of course.

Ah, put that in build.prop, rebooted, and all still grayed out.

I suspicion it needs the TMobile app(s). Maybe that puts something 'special' in build.prop. New phone would have that, but it won't connect to wifi. (WPA3)

Im here still, Im skipping 4.2, not alot changed, and awaiting 4.3's release 😉

The download files for 4.8 are only named "sofiap" and stylus. Previous downloads were named "SOFIA-R-P-RAV". Is variant "sofiar" still supported? Which file to take for sofiar"?

I know, i forgot to rename the file. You are 100% safe to flash it. All variants still supported and using the same zip/images.
