Man vds are for 4.0 android and this is 4.1

correct me if i am wrong but vds is an ics kernel. this is a jb rom.. please read the instructions and suggestions.. you'll know what to flash.

Thanks a lot man for bringing this ROM! Its super smooth and I haven't seen a "restarting" app in "Manage Apps". So far so good. It feels so smooth as well.

The only problem is that I can't find a JB kernel which supports mounting sd-card in recovery. Know any kernel that has this feature?

Dont worry it will not interfere.. it has been taken from the supremacy script.. it is universal so any android device can use it

I reinstalled the theming apps using titanium and got themes to work.

Can somebody explain me what is /sys/modules/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfile for ? and also the "check_filepages" in this place ?

I found these entries in the HTC hero thread...but I'm not sure if these values will be used at all on the Ray.

The vfs cache pressure value in /proc/sys/kernel is set (by init.d scripts) at 100000 by default. I read about that too on the internet, but measurements i did indicated slower performance in rw speed to sdcard , so for all : you can experiment with this value to see if it makes the rom faster. You can lower it to 10 if you want and see the result.

Just restored my backup, and will test some games asap

[edit] : found out that torch was missing...added it from fxp205 to enable flashlight from notification button
[edit2] : a good way to test if this rom is gaming proof is the game "temple run brave"...so the brave edition.
[edit3] : is it just me or are we missing all ringtones ?

Edit: And yes all ringtones are missing which is sad,wheater widget is also missing

It's the best ROM i have ever testet! Really smooth, stable and beautiful!
everything works smooth..only the lockscreen is a bit laggy^^ Could yopu change it into Xperia Z lockscreen? or could you add AROMA installer to costomize it a bit more?
