Yup..odex the system app and framework...

I found out odexing is tricky as the rom consists of 2 parts and needs a 2 step installation.
My idea is to odex the complete rom incl. toggles, and see if it boots up when performing a clean flash. If that doesn't work i will need to first odex the rom and later odex the AIO toolbar toggles separately (make 2 new zips, 1 for the odexed rom, 1 for the odexed toggles)

As this will take more time, I will re-schedule when I have more time available to do the odex trick.

If anybody finds a workaround to flash the rom "in one step", this would make the odexing much easier.
When you now flash the current rom+aio toggles in one go, then you will get a bootloop....caused by aio-toggles somehow. That explains the two step approach needed....but I would like to get rid of the two step method....so suggestions are very welcome ;)

What version of modded camera did you use in this rom? 14 or 10 mb/s?

Did you add/configure your google account, before locating the google play store ?

I remember i had to fill in my google account before the store is visible.

Please try and send feedback.

Thanks for providing active gb rom

Thank you very much for having idea in upgrading the Gingerbread features/performance in the present day instead of putting time on laggy (With respect to RAY) ICS/JB.

I will try your ROM today and i will provide my observations.

Thanks. It's good to have an up-to-date GB.
fyi, I compared this side-by-side with a Ray running the 'original' aire PDA-repack (opening and using stuff 'synchronized'). Performance and RAM usage is pretty much identical.
Compared to cm10, there's more free RAM, apps open _much_ faster, but scrolling isn't as smooth. Some apps don't run on GB (Google Keep).

Few Observations

Hi Vleutmans,

I have tried your ROM for the last two days. Even-though the benchmark score is less in comparison with the latest ICS (Dont want to mention names) ROM's, during Gaming, HD Video Playback/Recoding, Usage Performance your ROM really rocks!! since it is Gingerbread.

Some points from my side..

1) Your ROM is Stable/Smooth/Fast/Good Battery Backup. (Already ready for odex)http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
2) We can have Xperia Gallery itself instead of quickpic, since Bravia engine is playing role with this.
3) You can update the Gtalk version with voice/video call support.
4) You can brought in some cool features of ICS to your ROM like Notification Swipe off, Full Screen Caller ID in sync with Google contacts (Not sure it is easily possible), Lock Screen Music Controls.
5) The dock bar style can be matched with the stock GB
6) The lock screen digital clock can be matched with 2012 Xperia's Style.

Congrats and all the best for your upcoming developments.
