I think ROM is nearly perfect, apart from common issues. I am using your roms since beta's! With RC4 I find sense to work smoother.. RAM optimizer is also nice, I have it since RC2 (installed myself).

On this ROM, I'm clearly running out of internal memory. On another ROM I had around 72 apps (using app2SD). On this ROM I have a mere 50. I don't mean any offence as this ROM will remain on my phone because the new Sense is just irresistible and I just cant leave it! But is there some other solution to this problem to the lack of internal memory problem ? (please dont prove your ingenuity by asking me to remove apps -_- )

BTW, I've utilised App2SD on this ROM and have removed the "data" part on many apps to get some space yet I'm only left with 2-3 MB

ogo2, this is a brilliant rom. it runs very smoothly on my legend. thanks for that. i wanted to click the "thanks" button but i cant find it on the page. if someone enlightens me i will do that asap.

I also found several apps to be very useful as well. Appkiller is a free app on the market and it works extremely well to optimise your ram levels. I set it at aggressive level and I found the phone to be smoother.

SetCPU is good too. I realised ogo2 set the overclock to be from 200++ to 760 mhz. I simply upped the max level to 787 mhz (don't know why I could not choose to up that to 800++ as seen from other websites). also, i set the legend to have its cpu speed set to be between 100+ - 200+ mhz when the screen is switched off. i suppose this will help reduce battery consumption when your phone is sitting in yr pocket doing nothing. anyhow, your legend will improve batt life and increase performance when u need it.

When initially using this ROM, my legend "hanged" umpteen times and I realised the live wallpaper was the culprit. seems like the hardware of legend still belong to those of yesteryears and simply could not cope with graphics intensive apps. after I removed the livewall paper (dl from market), the phone just ran like a champ.

another issue many peeps have is the lack of memory. I juz used titanium backup from the market and transfer most apps to SD card, now i have plenty space (ard 40mb after all my crap including 2 GPS sw, few medical and pharmacological dictionary, opera and mini etc). what do you guys think about this idea? is it any good or better than the a2sd thingie?

I also tried to optimise space by removing unused apps through titanium backup. its easy stuff, just dl from market, then simply remove the stock apps such as twitter, flickr, news etc etc). however i noticed that my internal memory did not increase and in some instance decrease. i remove those useless apps anyway coz they choked up my menu screen.

sorry guys, long thread but i hope to hear some opinions from u guys and hope this will help some newbies. cheers.

I want to install this on a friends legend.

But do you NEED s-off?

And an ext partition??

And are the rare wifi turn on/off reboots there??

Thanks in advance!

I just tested (just for you!!:)) I installed an app from the market..
=> No reboot

I installed an app saved on SD Card, from Titanium..
=> No reboot

Yes, you are the only one to get reboots... lol!

Wiped my RC3 and installed RC4. Haven't used it much, but it was bootlooping after a hang. Will try again. Using DarkTremor Beta3, can never get Beta4 to work. Regardless, the reboot worked fine when I moved dalvik to SD earlier. No idea what caused the bootloop then.

Nice ROM

Hello! First of all i would like to say a big thumbs up for your effort in creating this magnificent ROM. I've been using RC4 for a day now (after migrating from Blay0) and i have to say that it's incredible.
The only issue that i have is that i keep getting the error "There is insufficient space on the device" when trying to install an app from the market. Note that i dont have a2sd froma darktremor installed, and i moved all installed apps to sd card after installing. Thing is that my /cache folder has 3MB free space. I really don't know what to do exactly. Should i wipe everything, install a2sd and after that, flash the ROM again?
Apart from that, everything else is working like a charm, Wi-fi, GPS and Bluetooth, and also the new Sense UI is sick!

So, with that being said, keep up the good work and hoping for an RC5 soon:D

I have been using RC4 for for 2days now and I must say its a really stable nice and fast ROM. I've migrated from CM7.0.3 and imo this rom is even faster (even with lower OC). Haven't had any reboots, and I've tried turning the wifi on and off for 10-20 times. Only problem I have had is the "insufficient space on the device" although I have 20MB left. But rebooting solves the issue. Batterylife is decent but I removed most of the facebook and twitter stuff and removed some auto syncing so that probably helped.

Thanks again for the nice ROM!

I installed A2sd DT v2.7.5.3 Beta4, move the Cache on the SD-Ext, .. No more problems of unsufficient space! :)

Took me some time, but i did the same thing!:) Thanks for the reply anyway. The problem with the cache was that it was full with yahoo,facebook and google sync. Clearing cache from recovery and reboot + moving cache to sd cleared everything.
