[ROM][RC4b][10.09.2011] Gingerbread 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1+

I dont know why, but i seem to be the only 1 with wifi reboots, dosent matter what version i use. My phone rebots, always the second time that i turn on the wifi, and after reboot the wifi is on, the i can shut the wifi down, turn it on and the phone reboots :-(

I have same problem with WiFi. Somethimes when i came back to my wlan serwice phone have no wifi on and when i try switch it off/on wifi phone make restart.After rester wifi is on and working ok.

Nex day: Problem is gone when i stop use CPU-Z (unistall it). I remember that just it start when i install it. I used "ondemain" at 128-768MHz, maybe must be other frequences but without wifi working always ok and on/off is stable.

a trick i have found for the wifi reboots is this;
when you want to turn on wifi, go to settings > wireless & networks > wifi settings > press 'turn on wifi' and don't touch the phone until it is connected.

Turning off works with no problems true the quick settings for me

This is a trick i found on MY phone, it may work on yours or it may not
if it works be happy, if it doesn't don't blame me for sharing my experience

Data2ext ??

Hi all. I've just seen this ROM and I would very much want to try it but I would need a definitive answer: can you enable data2ext on this ROM?
I tracked the last post about this subject back in May, but my question targets the last version.

The DT A2SD not working with the latest RC4b
Had a "Segmentation fault" when trying to use a2sd from shell.

Tested again with RC4 and it works.

In the latest version RC4b the /system partition is almost full because the odexed frameworks and apps. Maybe that is the reason for a2sd not to work.

Try to remove something useless like facebook, twitter, maps, etc. and then try to install the script again.

As i know data2ext isn't working. Only DT a2sd, but not confirmed with the latest RC4b.

I have been using the app wifi manager to turn my wifi on and off over a day now, no reboots yet! try it out and see if it works for you too

Dear ogo2, thank for the great ROM.

I got a really smaller issue here. On my lockscreen, the 1st icon on the right is designated as my calculator and after a reboot, the green android icon appears instead of the normal calculator icon. I can manually change it to the proper icon via the personlise tab but its just a tiny bit annoying to do that everytime after i reboot.

nevertheless, its a brilliant ROM, cheers.

My fiance have Legend and it has been running CM for some time now.
I though that it was fast rom, but now after i flashed this in her phone, it feels like superfast! Well, as fast as Legend only could be (not so fast hw anyways)...
Now running with DT A2SD + Dalvik in SD.
No problems for now, and zero reboots in all day long. Hope it works like this in future too.

I'm currently learning how to compile android kernel. When i succeed, there will be new kernel with some extras including trackball wake.

Try using the beta3 instead of beta4/5.
That one is working for me, the others arent.

I have this like 6 times a day, i had juicedefender with wifi installed, but then it reboots every time it tries to start wifi.

I also have battery drain, i must refill my juice every 10/12 hours. disabled facebook chat, but even when i have 100% battery and put it in flight mode overnight i only have 30% when i wake up in the morning..........

Is there any solution for the high battery drain? In the Batterie settings The Phone application has 96% ... And setCpu shows me after 4h Standby: 50% 256Mhz and the rest is 600Mhz.

Thanks for this great ROM, I've rooted my Legend because of this ROM....and I've no regret in doing it!

I've been using 1.0rc4b for the past 5 days, everything works smoothly without any FC or reboot at all; however, it seems that USB Tethering is still not working in this version. I've try it with my Ubuntu 11.04 as well as Win7 Pro 32bit with latest HTC Sync installed, there's no response at all and it looks like I can't even switch on USB Tethering from the setting menu

Does it has anything to do with the last line of "build.prop"?
