Hi Ogo2,

Thanks for this great ROM, I've rooted my Legend because of this ROM....and I've no regret in doing it!

I've been using 1.0rc4b for the past 5 days, everything works smoothly without any FC or reboot at all; however, it seems that USB Tethering is still not working in this version. I've try it with my Ubuntu 11.04 as well as Win7 Pro 32bit with latest HTC Sync installed, there's no response at all and it looks like I can't even switch on USB Tethering from the setting menu

Does it has anything to do with the last line of "build.prop"?
"ro.tether.denied=true"
Don't know. I have never used tether on my phone. :)

You can try to remove this line from build.prop file and push it back to /system

Do you need the right commands for that? I can help you.

Thanx ! Screenshots ?
I have reworked the first post. Screenshots are included.

I have added Donation button too. Now you can buy me a beer or cola for the long nights. :)

I've changed the last line "build.prop" from "ro.tether.denied=true" to "ro.tether.denied=false" and USB Tethering is now confirmed working correctly with my Ubuntu 11.04.

im also having like 96% usage with phone appliation....

Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
In my case it was caused by radio 7.13.35.13 from Bell Froyo rom. After downgrading radio, problem disappeared. There are other posts in this forum, pointing to this radio as a trouble maker for stock Legend roms, Blay0's b0.8.4 and this one.

Regards.

My radio doesn't match that one, which radio version did you downgrade to and do you have a link?

Reboot

ogo2,

Had my very first reboot ever after turning on my wifi, when the phone came back on it said my busybox su# was out of date, when it checked it said
it was up to date, make any sense to you?

Would that have caused the reboot, I know that your rom says it occasionally random reboots but I've never had one until now.

Yes, it will be possible. But i have one question: Do you really like the Sense 3.5? :)

Ogo2 which radio-rom you recommend, which you use? ( I think is good for us, because you testing it).
The latest. :)

Reboots are caused by the wifi driver, not Superuser.

Reboots are caused by the wifi driver, not Superuser.
I was just wondering if it was possible there was a link between those occurances.

I restored the phone from a backup this afternoon because after that initial reboot the phone then began rebooting everytime i toggled wifi on or off, since I've had no reboots until today it was the only other thing that was different.

Well, i've tried sense 3.5 on a desireZ.
It looks great but it's terribly slow.

Luckily both phones have the same MSM727 chipsets so making a port won't be so hard.

I'm looking forward to see sense 3.5 running on Legend.

so the news said the sense3.5 in explorer would be improved in order to decrease the ram it needs.

Reboots are caused by the wifi driver, not Superuser.
I notice someone mention enable or disable wifi from (Settings - Wireless & network) will prevent from reboot.

I give it a try for few weeks and its work like a charm.

Where can I get the kernel sources used for this?

I found this: https://github.com/nbetcher/latte-2.6.35-crc

However it doesn't seem to be up to date.

I've got a friend running this ROM and I intend to try to clean up the overclocking code a bit.
Yes, this is the source i have too. But there is one missing file in it - interactive governor code.

I have compiled my first kernel 2 days ago.

I have fixed the OC tables to the latest available.
I have failed to enable rackball wake and ext4 module support... for now. :(

Hope to fix them soon, but TB wake is hard to enable on GB roms.

I copied the interactive governor from one of my other kernel source trees so it went through compiling.

If you plan to keep your own version of the repo then I suggest you fork the repo on github. That way it will be easier for others to contribute.

I do not own a HTC Legend but I've written the overclocking code for the ZTE Blade, ZTE Skate and ZTE Light which all have MSM7227 CPU's just like the Legend so I may be able to help (if needed).
