I think i finally got the batterydrain solved and the a2sd script running again, thanks to a tip to remove Maps.apk to get the script working (space issue)!

wipe phone (off course first backup your data (titanium or nandroid)
reboot you phone to recovery
install RC4b
connect to usb on your computer
run adb.exe shell
type mount /system
type cd /system/app,
type rm Maps.apk

and do this also for:
Facebook.apk
HtcFacebookChatWidget.apk
HtcFacebookChat.apk
HtcFacebookChat.odex
HtcLocationService.apk
HtcLocationService.odex
Exit

unplug usb

When this has been done run darktremor script install (beta4 zip) from the phone.

Then boot, and your all to go

Has Anyone an Idea? I flashed the Darktremor beta4, and now i cant change the shortcuts on the Lockscreen. In the settings everything is ok but the lockscreen always shows the standart short cut (telephone, mail...)

Just wipe your cash and data before install (and to be sure sd-ext partishoin). Then from any CWM flash the zip.
Wait for completion and reboot your device. once again wait for homescreen - and here it is )))

How did you solve the battery drain problem? I just installed this rom yesterday and the batterylife is rather bad but I like the speed of this rom.

Also, is there any way to revert to stock Legend cpu speeds? I think the default overclock isn't really doing the battery life any good either.

edit: If you check with setcpu, you can see something is taking up all the cpu time. Most of the time the cpu is above 600mhz which makes no sense since most of the time my phone is idle. Anybody knows whats going on? I suppose this is whats killing the battery. Today I had to charge after only 6 hours. Thats not really workable on a day to day basis.

you can try to set the min cpu to 245mhz... Then the cpu shouldnt wake up from standby. Because the 128 mhz are to low... Maybe ogo can change this in next versions...?

Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App

Thanks, Ill try that. Though I removed the apps as stated in the previous post and that also helped a lot. My last charge lasted for a little over 23 hours. 8 of that was standby during the evening but still its about the same or a bit more than I got out of my battery on 2.2 stock.

I am glad that the removal helped :)

I also have the feeling that the new android market is really slow, when i have an update it takes ages on wifi to display the update screen..... maybe this is one of the other cpu eaters...... is there a way to go back to the old market to test this?

Edit: i removed the updates form Settings,Apps, and choose market, and remove updates. Also deleted app data, now it seems a lot faster. Version 3.1.3.
