battery drain

I have just installed rc4b and darktremor. I missed to remove other apps than the Maps and it seems battery drain is heavy. What can I do without having to start over. Can I remove the apps now also? How?
Thanks in advance!

Mine's about 70% though. (Dialer/phone app)

Random reboots about 4-6 times a day (not including the wifi toggle reboot), but those reboot usually stems from adjusting settings from apps such as Google+, Hanging with Friends, Words with Friends, etc. (which I guess are all memory intensive apps as they kill off the background Launcherpro as I have only 80MB of free memory when Launcherpro is running in background).

However, is anyone else having the Wifi error?
This is where the WiFi toggle cannot be turned on/off and only shows the word "Error".
I seem to have this error when I have Wifi on for quite some time with a certain period of inactivity. I need to do a battery pull and reboot before the Wifi gets turned back on again.

Fastest ROM I've used so far for the Legend, great work ogo2!

Remove some of the non-important apps like HTCFacebook/Twitter/Flickr etc before installing the DarkTremor script and the A2SD will be working fine after that!

1. Have you flashed a custom kernel?
2. Check if sdio.ko module is loaded with the "lsmod" command. It is loaded via init.d script.

Seems to be a common Gingerbread issue

It has been reported in a different section of this site

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069251

and others on the web that the Gingerbread dialer seems to take a huge chunk of battery power after the first phone call.

I myself was on the phone for no more than 2 minutes and lost 12 % of my battery power, for the rest of the day the phone drained much quicker than normal even though it was in standby most of that time except to send a few text messages.

Hmm.. I did not flash any custom kernel other than from the RC4b.
How do you do that part which I quoted? Sorry for being still new to this.

Still don't see why there is no other mobile phone out there that can rival the strength/integrity/elegance/sexiness of the Legend.

FM Radio

Hi all ,

As I said beforz, excellent work :)

But I'm searching for the default Android application for FM Radio, but can't find it...

Did I miss something or not ?
Or do I have to buy new eyes ??? :D

You can tell her about that you will nandroid backup what ever on the phone than flash this rom. Then tell her to use it for a day. I had a month using this rom and it's OK. Loved the camera layout. And the animated stock Widgets.

Make sure you use something like SMS backup to bring her SMS to the next rom. Or if you know how to do this with titanium. make sure her phone contacts are already on the clouds. And titanium backup all other apps and restore it on the other side .

If she still don't like it for half day. Tell her it's less than 5 minutes to restore her phone. And make sure you backup her SMS again if she did get new messages during test.
and reverse the job you did earlier. Or you'll get some serious beating from her.
